Maryland on the other hand is a lost cause.
Drive-by post. Lurker mode today.

The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,

silliness,

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. I’m heading over to the precinct to cast my vote. How’s it going for you this morning?
HAPPY 22222sDAY, Edward!
Good morning EG ((HUGS))
Busy as usual. It’s cold but the sun is shining.
I’ll vote when I get home.
Good luck with your vote.
Good morning ladies and (((HUGS))).
Please pray this and pass it on to everyone in your mailbox.
Dear Beloved God in Heaven, Please give us a president who loves this country and everything it stands for.
Please give us a president who respects You as the one true God.
Please give us a president who will, with Your help, restore this nation to its former glory, the way You created her.
Please help us to respect what You have given to us and not take anything for granted ever again.
Please God, weaken the evil and strengthen the good both without and within.
May our eyes be opened.
In Jesus name,
Amen
God Bless America
Thanks, Beach. There were 5 people ahead of me when I walked in the door. I was the 15th person to have my vote recorded.
That was good news for you EG. Way to go.
Voted early this morning (about 7am or so). I won't say it was packed but there were lines. Part of the problem was the new scanning machines. They've been in use for a couple of years, but I think that this is the first presidential election that they are in use.
Voting in the morning used to be a breeze. I was number three from my Electoral District, but the tables next to me were busy. I used to have my own machine, but now I had to join the crowd. But it wasn't bad, at least getting to the little shaded kiosks to bubble in the ballots. (And who was going to complain when that nice large man in the camo fatigues was three people up in line from me?)
The problem was the ballot readers. There were four scanning machines, and they were having problems with one of them. Okay, fine, have someone look at it. Some ONE. Not everyONE. Hello? We're in line here. It was a few minutes, but now a big deal.
Amen, Arrow! (((hugs)))
I did just that...for my 950+ friends on Facebook! I pray that
God hears our prayers and His will be done....
And good morning to you, too.
I noticed on your FR profile page that you live in Maryland.
Do you know if Sandy hit Lexington Park very hard?
I have relatives (ret. Navy Capt. & his wife) there that I can’t reach.
The Changing Room has hidden cameras to prevent shoplifting.
The Voting Booth is probably better for changing.
REAL changing! :-)
