My wife and I who lived in NYC for 22 years (we fled last year) incredulously question why Bloomberg would feel more comfortable with the NYPD than the National Guard.

NYPD gets 10 rounds a year to practise with, and that shooting they did recently showd what utter awful shots they are.
Also the guard are soldiers and soldiers have guns.

It would be nice if this disaster turned out to do for Bloomies career what Katrina did for Nagan’s...but when you’re a bazillionaire I guess you can do whatever you want to.
I would not allow the guard in UNLESS THEY HAD GUNS, and if Doomberg doesn’t want the guns, then he doesn’t get the guard. This is like protecting an embassy with guards that have no ammunition in their weapons. This country is spinning so far out of control, I don’t know if we’ll ever get it back.
I do not believe that we science types have a number large enough to express the stellar stupidity of Bloomdork.
Bloomberg and Obama are birds of a feather, just on different-sized playing fields. Thankfully, there are ethnic and sexual-preferences inherent to Bloomberg that will forever prevent his ascension to a higher office. Unfortunately, similar demographics actually worked in Obama’s favor (and are keeping him close in the current presidential race). In a nutshell, homosexual Jewish men simply aren’t at hip as homosexual black men.
