Two days after President Obama flew into storm-ravaged New Jersey on Wednesday for a 90 minute photo op with Governor Christie, parts of the state have descended into what one local resident calls "an apocalyptic vision." On Friday, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, this New Jersey resident described the situation there:
New Jersey right now is experiencing an apocalyptic vision. Gas lines are a mile long. Hundreds are standing in line with gas cans. Fights are breaking out. Police and national guard have been called out. I've not had power or taken a shower since Sunday. Pray for us here.
FEMA reps are meeting with people in their residences to assess how recovery assistance can be provided to them.
While FEMA representatives had finally arrived on the ground by Friday, most of them appear to be focused on providing financial assistance to victims of Hurricane Sandy at some point in the future. There is no indication yet that any FEMA representatives on the ground are actually doing anything to aid in the distribution of food, supplies, gas, or restoring electricity.
On Wednesday, President Obama promised to deliver a far rosier outcome to New Jersey residents over the next several days. In fact, the President made a specific promise that he would make sure supplies were delivered, as CNN reported. Two days later, he's failed to deliver on that promise, though he has been able to campaign in key swing states across the country during that time:
Many people across the region are still in need of basic supplies. President Barack Obama visited a shelter Wednesday in the hard-hit town of Brigantine, New Jersey, where he said he met a woman with an 8-month-old who has run out of diapers and formula.
"Those are the kinds of basic supplies

Obama and his beloved government aren’t going to fix anything before Tuesday.
To NJ Freepers: Is there any chance that NJ might go red b/c of frustration over the lack of relief and/or b/c the blue areas are most affected.
This is all 0bama knows - give people other people's money.
I don’t think so, but much of the rest of the country might see long lines for gas, no power, people displaced from their homes, and lots of in-fighting (i.e. people vs utility workers), and they might start to wonder whether Obama did any good (politically) visiting the hard hit areas.
Four years ago she Voted McCain, but to be honest she didn't think there was a dimes bit of difference between him and Obama. Now she knows what I was talking about.
After Tuesday, forget about it! He'll give money to Libya before NJ sees a dime! He's an evil anti-American POS! He watched four Americans being tortured and killed and deliberately didn't lift a finger!
If this means anything.....Hurricane-Devastated NJ Town Rejects Non-Union Alabama Electrical Workers
In other words according to the Union, it is better for you to sit in the dark and freeze your butt off and while you are at it, look at a empty fridge. Stupidity just has no boundaries. Remember to vote RIGHT in the upcoming elections, unless of course you want more of the same.
Having been through Ike, Rita, Katrina effects recently: the hard truth for NJ and NY is you are on your own to help yourself and your neighbor get by. The fedgov and stategov are not equipped to really help. The utility fabric of the nation is very fragile and takes a long time to repair, and with clear roads, water, food and fuel gas will show up in time. Help your neighbor. Let the government concentrate on the devastated people who lost all and are in shelters. It takes a lot more time than anyone can imagine. Clean up, and keep safety first.
barry didn’t go to those areas to help them but himself - looking for votes - so he is the beggar looking for help.
Rudy Guiliani went to Staten Island (a ‘Sandy’ disaster area) to visit his NY’ers this a.m. and later he went to Ohio to campaign for romney/ryan and asked those at the rally to pray for them and donate to Red Cross and others.
Few of the Sandy victims saw anything of Zer0’s photo-op in New Jersey. If they did they would be outraged because from their viewpoint, little is being done anywhere. The rest of the nation sees Zer0 as acting like a leader. In reality, he is an actor playing the part of a leader. Give him a script and a teleprompter and he will out do George Washington, Lincoln and JFK. Roll the cameras and stick him in Sandy’s aftermath and the sheeple will think it is back to the fantasy world on the Unicorn Farm instead of the Apocalypse. Zer0 will promise the moon and deliver an empty pot. For this nation’s sake I hope people wake up and see the fake.
You realize, of course, that the rest of the country will only see those things if the thoroughly-in-the-tank MSM chooses to let them see it. Since it doesn't fit the 'Obamamessiah descending from on high to feed the hungry and heal the sick' narrative, I expect that those things will get approximately as much coverage as the Libya fiasco, at least until Wednesday.
The hatred and the obscenities being spewed by the Union Democrat in the midst of all that suffering is beyond the pale. It’s all about them, not the people in need of help.
Jihadists chant, we are all Osama. Democrats chant, we are all Obama. Liberalism is truly a Mental Disease, although in their case it's a voluntary condition.
All that groveling that Christie did was for nothing, FEMA can't help in the present crises.
Free Phones, EBT Cards, section 8 housing, and free transit passes are all the trimmings for Obamites. Unfortunately......down cell transmition facilities, lack of power to scan your EBT cards, free housing knee deep in mud, and free transit that can’t move, turns out to be the noose around your neck.
There is a tape?
Yeah, Chriistie went all candy-assed for nothing. Obama rode hime for a photo opp. I bet that he feels like a used whore.
You have a link to that tape? I need to send that to someone.
Oh, also - the reason the union drones are scared of the Southern reinforcements is because they *will* show the people in the area just how much a scam the union workers are pulling and will change their expectations on what speed and quality of repairs they should receive.
