The White House on Wednesday shot down rumors that President Obama nixed an operation to rescue U.S. diplomats under attack in Benghazi after former Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich made the claim on national television.
“Neither the President nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi during the attack,” National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told The Hill via email.

So, who did? The SECDEF, Joint Chief, nor POTUS is accepting the responsibility of the “stand down” order.
If it wasn’t one of these people, the person that did needs to be brought out and fired immediately.
It doesn’t count unless Obama, Clinton, and Panetta testify under oath that there were no requests for help.
Well they have been forthcoming and truthful through out this entire event, so if they say they didnt deny anything ,.... well that should be good enough for us./s

So a mission to save those Americans was not stopped by Obama’s White House, Obama’s State Department, Obama’s CIA, or Obama’s military. Just how did George W. Bush make that call?
Well, Mr. White House, if you didn’t deny any requests for assistance, then WHY THE F*CK DIDN”T THEY GET ANY ASSISTANCE AFTER 7 HOURS OF BATTLE!?
All they got was murdered. Maybe that’s the request Mr. White House granted, their request to be murdered.

I believe that this statement is carefully parsed.
It doesn’t exclude Panetta. Who enacts Obama’s orders.
Here is the basic fact - the standing orders were to save American lives. If a rescue mission didn’t take place, then SOMEONE gave the order to stand down. Which can only come from Panettta or Obama.

And “under oath” means what to any of them?
In something like this, obama doesn’t have to formally deny a request. He simply does nothing and lackeys do NOT have the authority to grant or deny. So doing nothing is exactly the SAME as an order with no FORMAL order that can be traced back to ANYONE.
It will depend on the meaning of the word “deny.”
If he put up a “do not disturb” sign after hearing about the attack, he could use the word “ignore.” Is “ignore” different than “deny?” Of course it is, until after the election. /S
