well, i beleive it is politically helping obama to give votes to a candidate who would only take away votes from the gop, BUT, I like the constituition party’s position and it is the best, just wish they had a chance

We can only control our own vote - not how other people vote. The constitution party is the only officially prolife party, and with the GOP nominating pro abortion, pro gay marriage Romney - Goode becomes the best choice.

In the present election, those are non issues. They have been cast aside in favor of more pressing problems that can actually be solved.
To insist on single issues is to declare your self irrelevant to the process.
The average state is about 6 million people. So far abortion has killed 9 of 50 states, around 50 some million people. That’s the equivalent of 90 electoral college votes.
And in that, sir, we have common ground - great point.
So what?
In the current presidential election abortion is not an issue. While it is apparently important to you, it is not high enough on the list for American voters in this election to be in any way significant.
The pretend candidate knows he can garner enough votes to collect some money and tell his grand kids he ran for president. He knows he can dupe enough foolish people to make his effort worthwhile to himself.
Not exactly, the 5 times (or 6 if 1956 is counted, it is questioned) that republicans have won the Catholic vote have almost all been for reelection, 1956, 1972, 1984, 2004, and then Reagan's veep in 1988, and the only time in history that the Catholics voted republican against a democrat incumbent in 1980.
As you can see, republicans have won many elections in our history without the Catholic vote (almost all GOP victories), Bush in 2000 for instance and many before that. In other words, the Catholics do not lead towards conservative, but they will sometimes be dragged along to it for incumbents.
Before Vatican II, the Catholic vote had never gone republican, with the possible election that pollsters argue about, the 1956 reelection of Eisenhower.

Until abortion is abolished, abortion is always an issue. We do not get where we want to be by electing pro aborts who are not our friends (despite that some happen to have an R by their name.)

Did it hurt to choke it out that Catholics voted for President Bush, who was an excellent prolifer and aren’t going to vote for pro abort Romney?

Huh? Of course not, and Catholics voted against pro-life Bush and for pro-abortion Al Gore, it was only as an incumbent running for reelection in 2004, that Bush won 52% of the Catholic vote.
Romney will win the Catholic vote.
