President Barack Obama during a taped interview with MSNBCs Morning Joe on Monday refused to answer pointed questions regarding the recent attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Instead, he offered boilerplate assurances that a White House investigation will explain everything.
The fact of the matter is that this is a tragedy. Theres all kinds of legitimate questions to ask, because any time a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans who are serving our country get killed, weve got to figure out what happened and fix it, the president said in response to Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski asking him why his administration doesnt seem to have its story straight.
And, most importantly, weve got to bring those folks who carried that out to justice. Thats exactly what were going to do. But I do take offense, as Ive said during one of the debates, with some suggestion that, you know, in any way we havent tried to make sure that the American people knew, as information was coming in, what we believed happened, the president added.
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough followed up Brzezinskis softball question with something a little more hard-hitting: Was it the intel community giving you bad information early on? The stories keep changing.
Thats what were going to find out from the investigation, the president responded.

Of course he takes offense. He doesn't deny it, though.
A classic non-denial denial.
I just wish someone had asked him if this entire matter would fall under “foreign affairs”?
Mr. President, what’s to fix. You’ve got four men dead. How do you intend to bring a mob to justice?
His “investigation” has lasted over 7 weeks. When will have have an answer?
4 Americans are dead and this ass is “offended”?
Obama, you’re lying through your ass and we damned well know it.
Just shut up and go away, you traitorous bastard.
The effete little dolt thinks we care about his offended sensibilities. What an insufferable a$$ho!e.
From Teddy Roosevelt’s “Big Stick,” to “Benghazi” Obama’s “Follow from Behind,” to “Pansy” Panetta’s “Wait and See,” there has been a blur of change in how best to wup up on who is naughty and who is nice.

:: And, most importantly, weve got to bring those folks who carried that out to justice. ::
Once again, the “smartest people in the room” get it wrong. This is not a prosecutorial effort for breaches of the law but a martial prosecution of war. People (have and) should die for this event.
The key phrase is the last part... "to make sure that the American people knew... what WE BELIEVE happened"
He's offended that he's being accused of not getting their spin out. Clearly, they have been spinning like a gyroscope. It SHOULD offend him if their spin isn't sticking, considering how much effort they're putting into it.
However, their spin has nothing to do with the facts as they happened. Someone with experience parsing EVERY word has to ask this idiot some real follow-up questions. It's the only way that there's any chance he might, someday, give a substantive answer to an important question.
Obama should have sent FEMA in.
Well, on a different topic, HOmeland Security is working with the flooding. Good thing they have those 50,000,000 bullets.
Oh GEEZ! Can’t we find a nickname other than “Stonewall” for this creep? that nickname will for ever be attached to a hero and has no business being used on this traitorous bastard Obama!
I recommend the word “traitor” be used with every reference to Obama henceforth.
“4 Americans are dead and this ass is offended?”
Yeah, just like he was “offended’ in the when asked about Benghazi Just what’s wrong with any American who would vote for this African Trash! There are enough decent Black Americans (can you say Col.West) that would do a fine job as president to have elected this POS!
After putting up with the Obama administration for almost four years, I thought nothing would surprise me, but the lack of response to an attack on a US embassy has left me absolutely stunned.
It's hard to find words to even describe the anger and outrage I'm feeling right now. While not a member of the military myself, I have a number of family and friends who are, and the thought that our Commander in Chief might be so indecisive and cowardly that he might allow their deaths rather than give a politically unpopular order is just horrifying.
