The White House on Saturday flatly denied that President Barack Obama withheld requests for help from the besieged American compound in Benghazi, Libya, as it came under on attack by suspected terrorists on September 11th.
"Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied any requests for assistance in Benghazi," National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told Yahoo News by email.

Oh what fun, another linguistic puzzle. Where they standing outside with Obama having a smoke? That’s not in the White House.

Could also mean, “Neither the president nor anyone in the White House denied [there were] any requests for assistance [to the media].
See how easy that was? Or to add another, the President says to a State Dept official, “I am giving no order to engage” and the State Dept official [who is outside the White House] is the one who issues the denial of assistance. The CIA never got the request.
But your parse is the most likely - they sat and watched and ignored them.

You have to parse the words these weasels use. CIA says they never told anybody NOT to help. Defense Dept. says they never got a request for assistance from State Dept.”

You can always tell when a lawyer is lying because they resort to semantics to wiggle out of questions.
Maybe they didn't deny it but they didn't approve it either.
Or maybe the WH had someone else deny it.
Maybe he came across some "blow. He had a self-described affinity for it in the past - maybe he hasn't given it up.

So General Ham follows protocol which is to help which is the standing order. WHO TOLD HIM STAND DOWN IF THE WHITE HOUSE SAID THEY DID NOT? He ignores the stand down order and is replaced. WHO MADE THAT DECESION?
We need General Ham on capital hill on Monday to fill us in on who didn’t make all these non decisions. I bet he can shed some light on it.

is it so hard ot ask the white house where obama was during this and if asleep why was he not woken up and if he was there then did he watch the attack and then go to sleep?
Why go to Vegas the next day?
He is the only one who can give that order to stand down and who gave the orders to move men , and ships but then do nothing.
This attack was weeks ago and still we do not know where oabma was or if he watched the attacks and did he go to sleep knowing what was going on.
The media could have got this info weeks ago but instead they are now using this storm as cover knowing the election is days away.
