Those in the CIA Annex requested permission to aid the consulate. Were told to stand down at least twice. Went anyway after being told to stand down the second time

All of this went down from 15:40-2200 EST, with 2200 being the time mortars were fired upon the Annex when the 2 ex-SEALS were reportedly killed. State Dept was monitoring the situation from 15:40 on, hearing the words, “attack, attack,” per asst SecState Carlene Lamb before Congress.
This latest development places the 2 ex-SEALS at the Annex, rather than the Residence compound prior to the attack, and testifies they had requested fire support 3 times, the last at 2200 EST when they were lazing the mortar team about to kill them, and on each time they were told to stand down.

How many people died because of the video excuse? They used the video to spark bigger protests and greater unrest. They knew what they were doing.
Anger gets a bad rap. As long as one is not consumed by anger, it is a positive emotion. We get angry; we get things done.
Too many lump anger with other negative emotions such as jealously and resentment.
In this case anger and sadness go hand in hand. The sadness is about dealing with the senseless loss of 4 Americans. The anger is the conduit to change.
(Just an armchair observation)
And that fact can no longer be hidden.
Soon the MSM will realize that they will become (more than they already are) actionably complicit unless they fess up. Perhaps not today. But soon.
None want to do time under/after the investigation to follow.
I don’t know the technicalities but stand down seems to be ‘don’t do it’ and request denied means ‘it ain’t gonna happen’.

There has been speculation that the plan was a kidnapping that Obama could use as an election booster. He'd be viewed as a hero bring the kidnapped to safety after the meeting spent a few weeks on their personal narratives working American's emotions. I could see it. I could also see how he and Jarret could think they could trust their Muslim brothers and get stabbed in the back.
And he watched it happen.

Can we do something similar to the post-it note campaign? Using a few facts about Benghazi?
I’ve made some calls and typing up for emails but looking for more to do.
This cannot stand and I don’t even care about the politics of it. I care that these men were betrayed.
It is up to us to make sure this injustice is righted.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that coincidences, usually aren’t...
At some point, you wind up with so many events, that it truly becomes laughable to call something a coincidence.
Well, it’s time to figure it out, and FR is usually pretty good about that.
I have been at FR since 98, but for the last several years have hardly posted at all. It is this election, and what happened in Libya that has gotten my attention again.
The more I look at the timeline of activity in Beghazi, the more appaling it comes. And speaking of timeline, I tried to search, but nobody seems to have created a timeline of all this, spanning the time leading up, during, and after.
If someone is aware, or has created a timeline, that is something I’d like to see.
