There were some real veteran campaigners backstage and Im told they were all blown away by this crowd in Colorado. It really was like some big time rock show. Just a huge response for the governor...
...And then something very interesting happens. He moves away from the group of people just a bit. Maybe ten or fifteen feet or so. Just enough to have a little space to himself. And enough people notice that the area gets a lot more quiet, and they are trying to watch the governor without looking like they are watching the governor. They can all kind of tell something is happening right then. It was described as something very peaceful and powerful that came over that backstage area for a moment. And the governor, he lowers his head and his eyes shut tight and you could see him take a slow deep breath and then he lets it out and says quietly, but just loud enough for some to hear, Lord, if this is your will, please help to make me worthy. Please give me the strength Lord. And then his eyes open up, and hes back to smiling and laughing and shaking hands and being the candidate once again.
I had the same reaction....tears of gratitude.
Thank you for this beautiful post.
This is a site written by Mormans (lots of citations) and is recent.

If you are interested in learning more about what Mormanism teaches, this seems to be a good site. BTW, I’m Roman Catholic (happily so); I just want to make sure that a specific religion is presented as it would like to be.
Still better than what the current occupant of the White House believes.
Amen to that, ryderann! I wonder if the obammo people will remove all the ‘r’s from the computer keyboards the way the Clinton people removed all of the ‘w’s when GWB came into office.
A good soaping up, hosing down, and fumigation wouldn’t hurt either. Just think of who has visited there these past four years.
Not silly. I am an old man and a vet and ...me too,
Agreed 100%
Well, he can believe what he wants.
The choice is between his “god” cult, and evil. I agree it’s not the best choice, but we gots what we gots.
Wonderful story to start my day.
Romney would be wise to buy TV air time and show this Red Rocks Video in the Battleground States!
———I wholly believe that the White House will be cleansed before President Romney moves his family there.———
May be Freepers can go do the job on January 19. The went to the White House on that date to make sure the Clinton’s didn’t steal the silverware
I think he should find one gas station owner in every large city and pay them to offer gas for 4 hours, using the same price it was when Bush left office. He pays them the difference.
It would get media attention in every market, and make people think.
The lds-org denies that Jesus is the Creator, that everything was created THROUGH Him, BY Him and FOR Him.
They deny that Jesus created even the angels out of nothing.
They do NOT teach the truth about Jesus.
Until Mitt Romney repents of his false religion, stories like this will continue to ring false and untrue.
I live in a small city and that is almost what has happened.
Walmart (Murphy Oil) opened a new station and set the price at _$.10 per gallon. The other nearby stations followed and the doen cycle continued. The price is now down -$. 45 and has spread all over town.
I wasn't going to post on this thread, but this demands a response.
Surely, as a Catholic and a Christian, you would want to present the truth about Mormonism, instead of how it wants to present itself. The Catholic church's official teaching is that Mormonism is a cult. No matter how excited we get about this election and the prospect of tossing out the Muslim, we can't get caught up in a cult of personality and start believing things we know aren't correct.
Before anyone screams, I was definitely against voting for Romney for a long time, but the Libya mess made me reconsider, and I'll now be voting for him. I'm pleased to see the reaction Romney is getting from the folks. I think we should be praying for him. But I'm not going to misrepresent Mormonism as Christianianity.
But they can also find the truth easily enough.
Christ as the Creator of all things - LDS doctrine, not fishtank doctrine.

Shoo fly, don't bother me. This is my last post to you, so as I don't violate my tagline with future interaction.
