If you are interested in learning more about what Mormanism teaches, this seems to be a good site. BTW, I’m Roman Catholic (happily so); I just want to make sure that a specific religion is presented as it would like to be.
I wasn't going to post on this thread, but this demands a response.
Surely, as a Catholic and a Christian, you would want to present the truth about Mormonism, instead of how it wants to present itself. The Catholic church's official teaching is that Mormonism is a cult. No matter how excited we get about this election and the prospect of tossing out the Muslim, we can't get caught up in a cult of personality and start believing things we know aren't correct.
Before anyone screams, I was definitely against voting for Romney for a long time, but the Libya mess made me reconsider, and I'll now be voting for him. I'm pleased to see the reaction Romney is getting from the folks. I think we should be praying for him. But I'm not going to misrepresent Mormonism as Christianianity.
