The Real Reason Behind Benghazigate?

The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have now taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the "opposition" in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, the leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

Once Qaddafi was overthrown, Chris Stevens was appointed as the ambassador to the new Libya run by Belhadj and his friends. Not surprisingly, one of the most important priorities for someone in that position would be to try to find and secure the immense amounts of armaments that had been cached by the dictator around the country and systematically looted during and after the revolution.

One of the places in Libya most awash with such weapons in the most dangerous of hands is Benghazi. It now appears that Amb. Stevens was there - on a particularly risky day, with no security to speak of and despite now-copiously-documented concerns about his own safety and that of his subordinates - for another priority mission: sending arms recovered from the former regime's stocks to the "opposition" in Syria. As in Libya, the insurgents are known to include al Qaeda and other shariah-supremacist groups, including none other than Abdelhakim Belhadj.

should the Syrian oppostion “win”, yes Iranian theocrats will have lost, just a bit, bu the “winners” will not be anymore our friends than was Assad or than is Iran or than are the MB and the Al-Queda type terrorists

and what’s the chances of a MB majority government in Syria allowing the terrorists to conduct Hamas style war on Israel, from Syrian soil - much greater than it ever was under Assad

so what is going on

what is going on is that U.S. Middle East policy is not any U.S. Middle East policy, it is an Islamist Middle East policy run by and for the Saudis and the MB and the U.S. foreign policy apparatus is merely a tool, not a driver, in all of it

Right after Obama got Obamacare shoved down our throats... he started in on the Muslim agenda, as promised.

The two regimes that had been cooperating with US anti-terrorism were removed - including the regime of the Egyptian ambassador who had revealed Obama’s statements AND the regime of Ghadaffi who had said in a public speech that world Muslims had contributed to Obama’s campaign in the hopes that he would not forget/abandon his Muslim faith.

And since then we’ve been bleeding out soldiers, money, and ammunition in Afghanistan, where Obama is negotiating with the Taliban and lots of attacks on our soldiers are now from our supposed “allies” in the AFghanistan government. Our own SecDef required US soldiers to disarm before he would be in the same room with them in Afghanistan, and when Obama went there to supposedly give a speech to our soldiers he would not be in the same room with them.

One of our soldiers, who begged not to be deployed a third time because he was still not recovered from a head injury from his last deployment, supposedly went on a rampage in Afghanistan but the stories don’t match up or make sense - and the Pentagon is refusing to let his defense attorney get access to evidence.

The whole thing just stinks. To high heaven. When you connect the dots, though, everything makes sense in light of what Obama told the Egyptian ambassador. It makes sense in light of Ghadaffi’s statements about the Muslim world getting Obama elected, and in light of a high percentage (80%?) of hits to Obama’s contribution site coming from foreigners, while Obama has all the security features disabled in order to allow illegal foreign contributions.

It makes sense with Soros’ alliance with Islamists, and with intel saying that the 2008 run on the bank was known in advance by Islamists in the Middle East - and with Soros meeting with both Hillary and Obama in the 2008 primary to ask if they supported his plan to destroy America’s economy...

The picture over-all is very, very ugly. We have a foreign enemy combatant in our White House, installed by a communist-Islamist alliance headed (at the moment) by George Soros. Their goal is the Muslim agenda - the destruction of the US and Israel and the institution of worldwide sharia. And they are making very good progress towards those goals. The rest of the world is too stupid to see it, but hopefully more and more Americans are waking up and smelling the coffee.

Incompetence and malfunction cannot explain everything we’re seeing.

That would seem pretty plausible. The Saudis are the force that is mostly energizing the Syrian rebellion with money and weapons and working to move reliable jihadists to Syria to provide leadership to the rebel fighting units. This is being done with the knowledge and assistance of the US . The same thing is happening in Iraq where the Sunni militias are being flushed full of dollars and new jihadist fighters. There is a sort of logic here. In both places the goal is to thwart Iran. In Iraq the idea is to put in place an armed force capable of taking on the Shia militias and thus cut a good bit of the ground out from under Al Awalaki, who is seen as mostly an Iranian stooge. This will keep Iranian proxies from dominating 2/3 of Iraq. In Syria the goal is to topple the Assad regime and thus dispose of Shia Iran's only ally in the Arab world. Once the regime falls it is necessary there be a somewhat reliable Sunni armed presence to checkmate any Hezbollah-Awalite resurgence in Syria. If Syria lapses into years of armed chaos to bad it is their problem not ours. Such an even will also eliminate the Iranian's only foreign naval base at latakia. The Iranian navy is a joke today but the clerical regime has earmarked enough funds to make it gradually be a real blue water presence. Beyond that the latakia operation base is a great place to quietly put in place the materials for equipping several Iranian Q ship type vessels that look like freighters but really carry some sort of EMP weapon system. This is far or at least mid range in the future but it is a definite plan of the Irainians for developing asymmetric military capabilities.

Stevens death appears to be as a result one of those incalculable bits of inter Muslim plotting and scheming. Some group of Muzzies got cut out of some deal and felt they were ‘dishonored’ so that cooked up an appropriate (to them) revenge. Arabs will do these things even if it damages their direct interests. For them just like black street thugs ‘honor’ is everything.

BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if, in the end, we learn that Hillary was behind the release of Benghazi emails.

She wouldn't play a direct role, of course, and someone way down the totem pole would be set up to leak them. But if Obama loses the election, she will want to get credit for exposing his gun-running to jihadis so that she can salvage her career and get ready for 2016.

You’re Right On. The attack on the consulate was cover for the real objective...the weapons. The key to this is finding out who cooked up the video story...they are the one’s behind this!

Maybe...but I think it was the Turks who were going to deliver the weapons to Syria, and trust me, they would not do that for free! By setting up the seizure of the arms in the compound, AQ accomplished 2 objectives, they acquired the weapons with little effort (consider the logistics of stockpiling weapons from all over Libya) and they cut out the US/Turks middlemen. Now they can either cut a deal with the Turks themselves or move them through Lebanon.

Jeff, the 17th Feb group is properly called the 17th of February Martyrs Brigade. The MSM is whitewashing the Martyrs part out to make them sound like some innocuous local militia group. They’re not. THey are an AQ branch, founded to smite the Dutch after the cartoon nonsense a few years ago. That is what the date refers to, when the Mad Mo cartoons were published in Holland.

And that group, an anti-Western AQ affiliated “Martyrs Brigade,” was listed as the “security force” to “protect” the consulate in Benghazi.

If Obama believed they would protect the consulate, he is far too naive and stupid to be POTUS.

If he understood the danger, he is a TRAITOR.
