The Donald offers a $5 million reward payable to the charity of Obama's choice for the release of Obama's records, etc.
He would not be so "honored" to have forced The Kenyan to produce his birth certificate if he realized that it has been proved to be a fake.
And now we can put a real value on whatever he is hiding (i.e. it is at least as important as depriving his favorite charity of $5 mil).
I agree with your premise that releasing these records would alleviate a lot of anger and suspicion 0bama has created. It won't solve his cowardice under fire problem, deserting his post when the consulate was attacked, but you did good!

I probably agree with your first part, but disagree with your second part.
To deal with Trump, Obama (to his people) would look like he is dealing with blackmail. The best thing Obama to do is to dismiss this and anything to do with it.
The best thing for Trump to do is wait. Not to grandstand, not to stir the pot. But just to wait and not talk about it.

Some people have suggested that he had something quite different to release but didn’t want to interfere with the breaking coverage of the Benghazi emails...so he invented something that frankly wouldn’t cost him anything since he probably already gives more than $5 mil a year to charity (and, on top of that, he knows Obama won’t take him up on it anyway).

The general sense being that he either A) Applied to college as a FOREIGN student or B) received student financial aid reserved for FOREIGN students.
Either case, IMHO, would disqualify him.
You simply cannot be a “foreigner” and still have the status of “Natural Born Citizen”.

9/10/12 was the last date to ask for the records. The released documents may prove that obama is an illegitable president. This would clear him of any responsibility over the Benghazi issue. Then there would be no one held accountable for anything. The focus would be off Benghazi to find out what to do. America will be a mess. Biden becomes President.

I think it was an extremely safe bet even without foreknowledge of what the records hold. If they were in order and his grades were even average 0bama could have generated a lot of political capital by releasing them a long time ago.
