Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.

The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.

Let’s also juxtapose the scorn and derision heaped on Bush during 9/11, with Obama’s behavior on this 9/11.

Bush projected calm to a schoolroom full of children, and waited for AF1 to spin-up and plans for his relocation to be made, but he was mercilessly attacked by Michael Moore and the media as having failed to show leadership.

But Obama got word of a 6-hour attack, went to sleep, went on DJ Pimp with a Limp’s radio show, then went to Vegas.

Okay, so it’s confirmed. President Obama lied about the terrorist attack.

Where are all of the ‘principled conservatives’ who claim that Romney is the same as Obama?????

Here in Western PA, I still can’t find more than a few Obama signs, but the Romney presence is strong, much stronger than it was in 2008 for McCain. At this point in time, how any American can even consider voting for Obama is beyond me.

Because the individual in the communications building/room in Benghazi hit the Eminent Danger Notification system warning button,the White House has access to the live video of the attack and I bet that people on the Presidnet’s national security team watched it just like the State Department did.

They knew what it was while it was happeneing.

I can’t believe I am saying this, but I would prefer that this not be heavily politicized. First, let’s see how far the media will take this. Second, this is a true embarrassment to America on the world stage. Obama lied to the world as he spoke to the UN, saying the attack was caused by a video at a time when he KNEW it not to be the case. Finally, we should take the high road on this, stating that it transcends politics (but includes politics as well) and that we must await further investigation and healing of our nation from having been misled by the administration.
