Senior Romney aides confirm to Carl Cameron that they are planning to run a 30-minute infomercial in key battleground states— Joy Lin (@JoyLinFN) October 23, 2012
Re: Whoever is running the Romney SuperPAC should stop wasting money in Maine. Why are they running ads in Maine?
Poll: Romney leads Obama in Maine congressional district
Obama is not getting any EV’s in Texas
What a monumental waste of money! Are McCain campaign advisors now “helping” Romney?
Why are they running ads in Maine??
Because of the single electoral vote up for grabs.
Just a guess but the Super Pac analysts probably don’t believe the polls in Maine one way or the other and are trying to beat KIng in the Senate race ~

-— So the rumors are true. Mitt sat on his piles of cash so as to crush him in the last 2 weeks. Karmas a BEEEE-YAATCH! -—
Right on, right on.
It’s the habits of good planning and due diligence learned in decades of corporate leadership, versus the profligacy of a lazy, ignorant, armchair Marxist.
Excellent. I sent an email a few weeks ago pleading for them to do some 30 minute infomercials ala Perot style and updated from a white board to a SMART board and a big pointer!!! Bet they’ve received hundreds of requests! Since I don’t live in a battleground state . . . I’ll have to settle for youtube. At the time when I sent the email, I looked up the cost for Perot’s and it wasn’t that high . . . I don’t recall but the 2 or 3 he did each were less than 100K each. I don’t recall what station(s) they were aired on but I think he did them nationwide.

exactly, who on this earth is going to find the time to watch this for that long and not know who they are already voting for.
All he has ot do is a two minute one which has no sound and shows the facts like unemployment, food stamps, gas prices etc and then end it with , do you want another 4 years like what we have
look up the ratings for Perot, a third party candidate, in 1992. I imagine for an R, the ratings would much stronger. He has the money, so why not?
No man left behind? Who do you think I am? - General George Patton? |
I only need Stacey Dash in a bikini. :) Romney will dominate the “overnight” voting block!
I’m glad to see Romney embark on an ad blitz; but do “undecided” voters have a 30-minute attention span?
With facts and figures . . . he might change a few minds and get their votes for an even bigger win. Some folks need it spelled out for them in black and white and not in 30 second spots. Maybe. Like I said, he has the money, why not?
