And what do you know? The Marines still use horses too! So much for Obama scolding Mitt about now knowing anything about the military as it is today!
There’s a reason that the military still uses bayonets - in close combat, the bayonet is much more effective as a weapon than is a rifle. Does O’Stupid think that the military leaves their rifles outside when they enter buildings looking for the enemy?
Now now, the pResident is right about how modernized our military is. We have these things called satellites and computers now that let you watch consulates burn down in real time.
Ooh, if only mitt had said this!!!
The Lefties have no idea of how stupid that comment was. It demonstrated Zero’s total lack of any sort of grasp of the strategic and tactical aspects of a strong Navy. Horses and bayonets were replaced by technology and the Navy has no viable replacement at this time. Anyone woh has any grasp of the implications of that statement would consider it the to be the concrete bucket around Zero’s feet as he sinks into defeat.
No, it’s not misleading-—it’s a LIE like every other word that come out of the mouth of the LIAR in chief.
I think Mitt did well. A president has to know when to hold his fire and let time defeat his opposition. Benghazi will continue to be an issue for the next two weeks. The rest of the country will be learning much of what we here already know about it. More may come out that even we haven’t heard yet.
But the biggest clean-your-keyboard moment came when somebody posted:
Why do Marines still use bayonets?
To pick the socialists outta their teeth!
Great comment! Maybe an epitaph...
Too bad it was that clown Biden that spoke at the ceremony
but I am thankful for our special forces nice article.
