And what do you know? The Marines still use horses too! So much for Obama scolding Mitt about now knowing anything about the military as it is today!
My brother, a Marine, was very disturbed that the POTUS didn’t know that bayonets and horses are still used.
I had a bayonette when I was in the Army. We still have horses and mules, too. How is it that the commander of our military doesnt know that?

Yes, Mr. President, bayonets are still important to our military"
Now now, the pResident is right about how modernized our military is. We have these things called satellites and computers now that let you watch consulates burn down in real time.
Maybe if the Ambassador would have had bayonet instead of the drone watching what happened he would still be alive.

I’ll bet the Taliban got as big a laugh out of this as the Obamanoids did. They don’t have ships that airplanes land on and ships that go under the water.
Binders and Bayonets!! Obama Biden ‘12
It's slightly off-subject; but did you know that the VMI cadets are the only military institute students who are allowed to march with fixed bayonets. The Charge of the Corps of Cadets at the Battle of New Market during the Civil War earned them that right and honor.
Let’s see - we now have Big Bird, Binders, Bengyazhi, and bayonets. Does that pretty much sum up zero’s plan for the next 4 years?
