Anonymous reports coming out of the Middle East indicate President Obama may be planning military action to take place in the days before the U.S. presidential election. Certain individuals currently deployed in various U.S. land, sea, and/or air missions in the Middle East are indicating they've heard about possibilities that could take place one to two days before the election: perhaps against Iran, perhaps elsewhere in the Middle East. These individuals have no idea what might be coming, but some of them indicate receiving upgraded clearances and travel documents that will allow them to move more easily between countries should something big take place in the region. When Gov. Romney began threatening to overtake Obama in the polls two weeks ago, various commentators wondered aloud whether Obama would use a military strike to try to show his toughness and bolster his numbers. And when Gallup showed a consistent 6-point lead for Romney last week, callers asked Rush Limbaugh if he thought such an attack-for-votes scheme were actually possible?

Doesn't make sense. That's a day after Democrat Voting Day, which, as everyone knows, is Wednesday, November 7th. (For those of you in Rio Linda, Republican Voting Day is Tuesday, November 6th.)

I believe Obama will try to pull something—maybe cancel the election! He will do anything to win—I believe he could try any desperate act.

Any military action is going to lose the “peace” vote. No one on the right will fall for this. And even many left-leaning centrists will realize that you’re just being a bully in a desperate attempt to look Presidential.
A politically motivated war, with no discernable security benefit to the US. As a matter of fact, it would be an action that decreases national security. Yeah, that’s the ticket, Zippy.

If the information is credible, then posting it decreases the chance of it occurring. I’d post according to my best assessment of its accuracy and my conscience and not base it on whether or not it enhances my future credibility (or revenue, as the MSM does).

Nor will a military action help persuade despondent blacks to go vote. It will strike fear into the hearts of the silly young women and they will not have adequate time to reach consensus and act. They will dither and not vote either.
That may be the price Obama is setting for going forward.
