Anonymous reports coming out of the Middle East indicate President Obama may be planning military action to take place in the days before the U.S. presidential election. Certain individuals currently deployed in various U.S. land, sea, and/or air missions in the Middle East are indicating they've heard about possibilities that could take place one to two days before the election: perhaps against Iran, perhaps elsewhere in the Middle East. These individuals have no idea what might be coming, but some of them indicate receiving upgraded clearances and travel documents that will allow them to move more easily between countries should something big take place in the region. When Gov. Romney began threatening to overtake Obama in the polls two weeks ago, various commentators wondered aloud whether Obama would use a military strike to try to show his toughness and bolster his numbers. And when Gallup showed a consistent 6-point lead for Romney last week, callers asked Rush Limbaugh if he thought such an attack-for-votes scheme were actually possible?

Why would they suppose this would HELP Obama? His base isn’t gung ho military...they might defend it, but it won’t make them run out to vote. It won’t change any minds on the right....they think bombing something is going to help with Indies?
I think it is more likely they’ll think he is trying to invent a surprise to overshadow the ECONOMY
If this election was about foreign policy, National security..maybe...but it isn’t.
Imagine if Obama starts a war with Iran right before the election, loses anyway, says “OK OK we’ve had enough.” Then Iran says “Well, we didn’t have enough.”

I agree. I believe most will believe that Obama is doing it for political reasons if that should occur. I think that will backfire on him big time. Now the Obamaphone lady and her ilk will believe anything he says.

This goes completely against the news or rumored news that Obama somehow made some kind of deal with Iran to postpone their enrichment of plutonium and stop their nuclear program until after the election.

Many indies vote how they feel on election day. If there's a surge of theatrical machismo by Obama they may pull the lever for him purely out of emotion.
