Romney-52 Obama-45
(Excerpt) Read more at gallup.com ...
The senate still looks good.
Rehburg is a sure thing in Montana.
I think that Akin is four points behind McCatskull, but I’d put my money on him beating that witch.
Allen in Virginia is likely to win in my opinion.
If Romney wins the election, Thompson in Wisconsin and McMahon in Connecticut will get carried over the finish line
We’ll lose one in Maine, but I think Brown is safe in Mass. Warren is screwing up over and over again.
We might not win in Florida, but we’re still okay for the senate overall.
Nope. The media is going to be up to its usual shenanigans in November.
Obama states will be called immediately and Romney states will be called only if they’re called at all. Unless it appears to be an R blowout, the MSM is not all that eager to crown Romney as the next President.
And you can take that to the bank. We won’t know who is President until well after midnight. I plan to watch the election coverage all night.
I’m expecting Romney to still win but I don’t expect the media to get a “tingling feeling” about it. They are not and never will be - our friend.
Your post was an excellent summary. Don't forget Ohio - a Romney win (which I think likely) will almost certainly mean that Josh Mandel will beat the excrable Sherrod Brown, the most vile and odious member of the US Senate.
LOL!
[whose stupid idea was it to put the 4 key beside the 5?]
;D
One thing: state polls are ALWAYS a lagging indicator. If the Gallup projection is accurate, we’ll see Romney take big leads in key swing states.
I think it will happen after the last debate.
Love the pic, Scanners... Good Movie. By they way many heads will be exploding late Nov 6 + 7, get the cameras ready.
Cap74,
Pray for an epic blizzard on Election Day only in Baltimore and Montgomery counties.
I mean, there are multiple counties in KY that gave Bobo single-digit percentages in the 2008 primaries. In 2012, 42% of Democratic voters checked off uncommitted on their ballot.
It's all ground game, and ground game is money. IF CO, IA, NH, NH are all reliably, consistently internally +3 in the clear, then yeah, go after PA. But WI would be smarter. PA is more a resource game -- if Bobo is broke and -$15M to BoA, then make them go deeper.
Epic blizzard or heavy rain in: Montgomery Co., Lower Baltimore Co., PG Co. AA Co. Balto City.
“Gallup pushing back on the threats?”
Maybe the Gallup people see the handwriting on the wall— a huge Romney win— and therefore no longer have to worry about Axelbutt and Holder coming after them.
That certainly seems to be true in this election (look at Gallup or even at Rasmussen's swing state poll v his individual state polls). But why is that the case? (I'm asking honestly...I've heard this stated before but never the underlying theory that makes it so.)
I've got to admit that Team Romney were right to steer clear of the more sordid scandals surrounding Obama, and concentrate on wounding him where he was most vulnerable, i.e., his abysmal public record in office. For voters who aren't tuned in 24/7, those are the issues that really matter.
I'm not going to even begrudge him the respect I'm now gaining for him. He's earning it.
Here in CO, O has been carpet-bombing the state with ads since the late summer. R&R has been spending big bucks here and its a commercials dog-fight. I think R&R have the upper hand.
“The American voters saw what they needed to see on the first debate. All they needed to see was that Romney is a man who can handle the job - mission accomplished.”
Exactly!
If accurate, this means 4 of the 7 days in the rolling average are post-2nd debate. Barry therefore received a NEGATIVE response for his performance! Apparently only the media were impressed by the One and failed to convince likely voters that they should be as well!
Pressure on Gallup from MSM to come to Obama rescue..Even MSM Chris Wallace is trying to persuade them.
My cynical side says Gallup will do just that shortly...here`s hoping I am wrong!!!!!
And saw off their limb without supporting flux? Without a cause? Never.
