The Los Angeles Times ^ | October 19, 2012 | Ken Dilanian and Shashank Bengali

Posted on 10/20/2012 5:58:10 AM PDT by Haddit

The assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi last month appears to have been an opportunistic attack rather than a long-planned operation, and intelligence agencies have found no evidence that it was ordered by Al Qaeda, according to U.S. officials and witnesses interviewed in Libya.

“Laughing Boy”

Good products. Cook with them often. Pearl River Bridge stuff is also very good.

You missed the best line:

L.A. Times : ( * No evidence found of al Qaeda role in Libya attack * )....

L.A. Times : ( " The assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi last month appears to have been an opportunistic attack rather than a long-planned operation " ) .....

So L.A. Times ?

Are you now admitting to ?

or saying that ?

It could have ?

Maybe ?

Perhaps possible that it was ?

A well planned " opportunistic " hit job to keep someone quite ? .....

Just speculating here, theoretically speaking of course..

Just asking possible theoretical questions here to find out what really happened..

Ya. Of course....” Long planned” has far more ominous origin....that Al Queda and the Taliban could be planning right out of the White House!!!

There is only one thing missing from this attack....no one has taken credit. AQ always takes credit.

I said this before and I am saying it again...this was not an Al Quada attack.

There was no reason for the administration to ‘make-up’ blame on some stupid youtube trailer. All they ever had to say was is it was under investigation. Instead though...they made up a distracting lie. Why?

This trail leads back to the White House. There’s so much that does not ring true...

Semantics to try to save Obama’s butt.

Abu Obeida al-Jarrah Brigade was behind the assassination of Gen Abdel Fattah Younes who defected from Ghadaffi's regime and fought with the rebels. They have connections to al Qaeda.

“Taleb” means ‘student’. So the Taleban are the students.

The attack was "carried out following a minimum amount of planning," said a U.S. intelligence official, who, like others, spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a matter still under investigation. "

An "anonymous official"? The matter is still under investigation?

What a bunch Obama sycophantic propaganda.

Only in liberal La La land is “lack of evidence” equated with “proof”. This is particularly true when the team searching for evidence is cooling its heels waiting for visas to visit the “crime” scene. I’m sure the al Qaeda militants, who have complete access to the scene, as CNN does, will wait to scrub any evidence from the compound until after the “thorough” investigation.

Gee, I thought the Al Queda guy who has been on all the Arabic talk shows bragging about this would be an indication that Al Queda might somehow be involved.

“Assad has made Syria one of the most secular countries in the Middle East.”

I suppose that makes him ‘good’???

The man is league with terrorists...he IS a terrorist. The fact that he tolerates christians and lets women wear western clothing is not an excuse for his existence.
