Comedian Paul Rodriguez is not joking.
The man who made his mark in Hollywood finding humor in just about everything is – in a deadly serious way -- hitting back at fellow Latino celebrities Eva Longoria and Rosie Perez for their recent biting jabs at Mitt Romney.
"When it gets personal, like they did, it goes below the belt,” he said.
Rodriguez is featured in a new Latino-targeted ad for Romney, whom he is supporting after what he says is disappointment over President Obama. Rodriguez says he’d been a lifelong Democrat and voted for Obama in 2008.
Longoria drew fire Thursday from Romney supporters for her retweet of a lewd message about Romney.
The actress, a co-chair for Obama's campaign, retweeted a tweet that read: "I have no idea why any woman/minority can vote for Romney. You have to be stupid to vote for such a racist/misogynistic tw*t."
She later deleted the retweet and apologized. That came days after Rosie Perez, the actress, who has been very active in supporting Obama, appeared in a YouTube video mocking Romney.

They were never the lock like the Dems have on blacks; their work ethic makes it difficult for Dems to attract some. Of course, the multi-generational welfare types, as well as the outright illegal aliens, will support the Dems because they transfer white taxpayer wealth to them, but the Hispanic middle class probably votes in a similar manner to the larger white population.

Can’t be said enough. I not even heard of a single person who voted for McCain who now suppors 0bama. But there are MILLIONS who voted for zero who will be voting for Romney...
WHY do hollywierd actresses think that the more outrageous and vulgar they are, the more popular they will become? I don’t get it.
From the stories that are told all too often, it is how they have to offer themselves up to the Hollywood power brokers to move ahead and then think they are expected to do the same to everyone else.
I have for a long time held the belief that actors become so immersed in being the person they are playing that after long enough they totally forget who they really are. So in essence, their whole life then is consumed with finding the easiest and most acceptable personality to make sure they stay in the clique so they can perpetuate the only existence they know.
Isn’t she the one who had the multi-million dollar wedding and lasted less then a year. Yeah, she is a real prize.
Apply the pro makeup and boob job to any 10s of millions of other women and they will be as hot or moreso. Without them, she is an anorexic stick figure who is average at best.

It really comes down to towing the party line.
When one works in a world filled with X belief/philosophy, one adopts it or is outcast/unemployed.
Notice that every interest group is right there at the dawn of careers in Hollywood to ‘help’ them along.
My fave example is the Aussie group “The Veronicas”. Great music, great voices. Twin girls.
When they broke in America, PETA and the gay groups were their biggest ‘supporters.’ Suddenly, one went lezbo and they made all manner of PSA type ads for Gay/Animal Rights causes that helped them be ‘popular’ in the targeted demo. Lotsa marching in parades and “Supporting my gay sister” articles too.
Longoria is no different.
But she’s so smart, she uses big words like misogynistic.

And I’ll bet without that ‘scripted’ line, she’d have to look it up. Assuming she can work a dictionary.
Wasn’t Rodriguez the guy that did the show with Hannity about the central valley farmers getting screwed by the smelt?
I feel sort of sorry for Eva. As soon as she loses her looks no one is going to ever care what she thinks ever again.
