“Talking points” prepared by the CIA on Sept. 15, the same day that Rice taped three television appearances, support her description of the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate as a reaction to Arab anger about an anti-Muslim video prepared in the United States. According to the CIA account, “The currently available information suggests that the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault against the U.S. Consulate and subsequently its annex. There are indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations.”
The CIA document went on: “This assessment may change as additional information is collected and analyzed and as currently available information continues to be evaluated.” This may sound like self-protective boilerplate, but it reflects the analysts’ genuine problem interpreting fragments of intercepted conversation, video surveillance and source reports.
The senior intelligence official said the analysts’ judgment was based in part on monitoring of some of the Benghazi attackers, which showed they had been watching the Cairo protests live on television and talking about them before they assaulted the consulate....
...“It was a flash mob with weapons,” is how the senior official described the attackers. The mob included members of the Ansar al-Sharia militia, about four members of al-Qaeda in the Maghreb, and members of the Egypt-based Muhammad Jamal network, along with other unarmed looters.

There were no demonstrations in Benghazi. There were demonstrations in Cairo Egypt. Not Benghazi. Benghazi had no demonstrations.
Did all the German people hate the Jews? I don’t think so. How could the German people ignore the abuse and slaughter of the Jews? Many have tried to blame it on the influence of strict Prussian obedience. I don’t think so. Germany was thought to be the most liberal and progressive nation in the world at that time by many people. Hitler and the National Socialists sold the German people on a Nazi paradise. Yeah, maybe some Jews were getting hurt and killed, but the Nazis were going to have a socialist utopia in Germany. It was for the higher calling. Didn’t I hear that phrase today, “higher calling”? Wasn’t it about Obama? That’s where the US media is today. Yeah, the Democrats lie and steal and have policies that kill hundreds of thousands of people, but they’re answering a higher calling. They’re going to give us paradise here in America.

And why would they be monitoring non-jihadis? Answer: The wouldn't. They were trying to find out what happened to the disappeared missiles, and they would have been monitoring jihadi type suspects.

I spoke to a person a few hours ago in WI. This person described a radio show that interview college students, I am totally guessing it was at the University of Madison, and some of those interviewed had no clue about an American Ambassador getting killed in a terrorist attack. My ‘guess’ is that is why Obama did the JonStewart news show to inform the liberal college students.
And we all know, that opinions are like a$$holes. Everybody has one.

I agree and wonder just why they think that they can do this and remain anywhere credible! It’s amazing but really I think that they think that the public is so stupid that they can’t follow it. Maybe they think that FOX news reveling the actual facts can be ignored. Strange things going on.
I wonder if these folks expect to be in business in 5 years or are just hoping for a government handout.
