Despite a dip in support, Barack Obama retains a narrow 46-43 percent edge over Republican challenger Mitt Romney in the Buckeye state.
Obama topped Romney by seven percentage points in Ohio a month ago (49-42 percent).
The president has lost ground among independents (down 10 points from September), women (down eight points) and voters under age 35 (down six points).

As I recall Fox News is skewing that poll by somewhere around 4 or 5 dems
What’s the overall makeup of the OH electorate?
Ohio cannot be that stupid. Please! Come on Ohio. Get in the game!
Registered Voters D+9 (42%D-33%R)
Likely Voters D+8 (42%D-34%R)
The poll thus assumes a larger Democrat turnout advantage than occurred on 2008.
Draw your own conclusions.
2012 will be even at worst or R+1.
Dem +8 (Dem 42, Rep 34, Ind 20). This compares to 2008 of D +8 (Dem 39, Rep: 31, Ind 30) and 2004 of R +5 (Dem 35, Rep 40, Ind: 25).
: )
My prediction: Ohio goes Romney by a double digit margin.
This is a horrible poll for Obama.
Yes, Romney has got Ohio.
Unskewed is showing 342 EVs for Romney here:
http://unskewedpolls.com/unskewed_projection_2012%20president_01.cfm
giving Romney PA, and MI as surprises.
As far as I’m concerned, this site is unbiased and uses realistic turnout assumptions.
They are showing Main at 49-47 Obama, if it is that close it would be 343.
I'm good with 270 and up.
OH, yes it can. In 2008, all my relatives but one voted Obama. A pharmacist, two RNs, and four other college graduates included. They all voted for Health Care in 2008. Ohio IS that stupid.
Unskewed’s numbers look very reasonable to me as well.
Thanks for posting the link.
Romney lost the election by getting in the gutter with Obama in the second debate. Obama set the trap with his vicious opening statement and Romney fell into it.
America wants a leader, not a spin doctor. That’s why nearly as many people tuned into the second debate as the first. Unfortunately America will be stuck with a gangsta Marxist instead.
Just when I think I’ve read the dumbest thing on FR that I have ever read, along you come and prove me wrong.
I think I need to go to bed before somebody beats you.
How will they be voting in 2012?
