If Obama was up 7 over Romney at this point, every pundit —liberal and conservative — would be saying that it is over.

We need to take all these polls with a healthy dose of skepticism and not get excited over them.

Exactly increasing the vote percentage from 65% up to 85% in AL, MS, LA, TX will not change the electoral college margin. Moving from up four-five percentage points in PA and OH would be huge.
With all the Obama/Crowley double-team "Why I just happen to have a transcript here!" BS, what has also resonated with voters and really sunk Obama was his claiming that high gas prices are a sign of a growing economy.
The new unemployment claims jump and the revelation that welfare recipients are the biggest budget item for 2011 with over a Trillion bucks going to them, the gap should widen further.
