A Middle Eastern man tried to blow up the Federal Reserve Bank in Lower Manhattan this morning, law-enforcement sources told the Post.
The terrorist parked a van filled with what he thought were explosives outside of the Liberty Street building, sources said, then tried to set them off using a cell phone detonator.
The suspect, who was not immediately identified, was provided the explosives from an undercover FBI agent that he met on the Internet and believed to be an accomplice, the sources said. …

Well, I don’t know the details of this case, but usually the feds get lots of tape and video of the suspect making jihadist statements, and clearly stating that he intends to blow up some target and hurt or kill people. THEN they make fake explosives available and see if the suspect carries out actions that WOULD hurt people if the stuff was real. Those Occupy guys who tried to blow a bridge come to mind, the video makes it clear that if they had real C4 they would actually fuze it and plant it on the bridge.
I checked out a number of cases some months ago- this sort of setup is the only arrests/convictions for terrorism that I’m aware of. If there were real terrorists and not loudmouths that the cops can lure, there would be failed attempts discovered and some actual attempts that work. But this guy, if they have him on tape, is in a lot of trouble.

What really went wrong was Mitt saying over and over again that hussein was right. I got the same sick feeling each time he said that as when McCain told us we didn’t have to be afraid of hussein. It doesn’t matter that Mitt followed up on a few “the president is right” with how he was wrong but the average voter is only going to remember that the devil was right.

Several of the programs we watched in the past, now all involve murders/terrorist plots at the hands of any group OTHER than an Islamic group. It has become so pervasive, it is actually humorous in a “how stupid do Hollywood producers think we are” sort of way.
