I'm still not convinced Romney is "now" pro-life.

Sorry.

I am NOT convinced that Romney is "now" pro-life.

When Obama led with this statement yesterday:

"In my health care bill, I said insurance companies need to provide contraceptive coverage to everybody who is insured. Because this is not just a -- a health issue, it's an economic issue for women. It makes a difference. This is money out of that family's pocket. Governor Romney not only opposed it, he suggested that in fact employers should be able to make the decision as to whether or not a woman gets contraception through her insurance coverage.

That's not the kind of advocacy that women need. When Governor Romney says that we should eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood, there are millions of women all across the country, who rely on Planned Parenthood for, not just contraceptive care, they rely on it for mammograms, for cervical cancer screenings. That's a pocketbook issue for women and families all across the country."

Romney COULD have answered by saying,

"SORRY, Mr. President, but ABORTION IS NOT CONTRACEPTION...

IT'S MURDER."

But Romney didn't. He said,

"I'd just note that I don't believe that bureaucrats in Washington should tell someone whether they can use contraceptives or not. And I don't believe employers should tell someone whether they could have contraceptive care of not. Every woman in America should have access to contraceptives. And -- and the -- and the president's statement of my policy is completely and totally wrong."

Romney did not give a distinction and a difference between abortion and contraception.

Why not?

We know that Obama favors the extermination of every unwanted child, including outside the womb.

Romney is better.

I’m not convinced either, but I think it’s a safe bet he disapproves killing a baby after it’s born, so he is still a better bet than Obama.

If the Pope were elected president Roe vs Wade would still be the law of the land. Romney Ryan will be more pro-life than any admin in the last 20 years, may last 50.

Do you have any doubts as to where Obama comes down on the rights of the unborn? If not, why is it Romney that you choose to criticize?

"SORRY, Mr. President, but ABORTION IS NOT CONTRACEPTION... IT'S MURDER."

Saying that would have instantly lost him the election, of course.

But I know for a dead certainty that Hussein is not pro-life, he's all for killing humans at almost any stage of life.

That simple fact is what people just don’t understand. The toothpaste is out of the tube at this point. Started from the high end and ensure any kind of talk about infanticide is labeled murder, as it should be, is step 1. Step 2 is concentrating on late term abortions.

Romney did not give a distinction and a difference between abortion and contraception.

Well, from what I've seen, most Catholics don't make this distinction, either.

The simplest answer (and debate wise, the logical one) is that Obama used the word CONTRACEPTION. Romney addressed the CONTRACEPTION issue. For Romney to address abortion instead of contraception would be (RIGHTLY) perceived as DODGING THE ISSUE. Even if the issue of abortion is more important to you.

Perhaps one of the panel should have asked about ABORTION, and then you would have a chance to figure out whether he is ‘pro-life’. BTW, how many times do you think Romney’s wife had an abortion ?

Which one of the candidates would be more likely to establish something similar to the Reich Commission for Strengthening of Germandom.

First hint, NOT Romney.

Vote for Obama then.

We all know Romney is far from perfect. But we cannot afford four more years of Obama's style of economic recovery.

I am 100% certain that Obama has no problem what so ever with infanticide and abortion, nor do I believe he is pro-life where the elderly and disabled are concerned. ABO Nov. 6.

Romney has a lousy record on abortion. Smart people pay attention to what other people do and not what they say. I suspect that Romney is personally against abortion but is willing to let other people make their own choice on it. Don’t be surprised if he softens his pro-life position should he be elected. Just look at his record.

But compare his record to Obama’s. In my mind this is clearly a case of picking the lesser of two evils, but the worse “evil” in this case (Obama) is one notch above the anti-Christ.

Then I suggest you use your vote to insure the reelection of the candidate who supports post-partum abortion.

Shhhh .... the echo chamber is in session.

Romney spent forty years on the other side of the abortion issue and his $50 Romneycare abortions are well known.

But NOW he’s pro-life. Because he says so.

I think that Romney is an honorable man who, until he ran for MA governor, never dealt with the subject of abortion. He’s probably never paid for one, his wife has probably never had one, he spends his life in a universe where abortion is actually a foreign subject. He had to face the subject as governor and now as presidential candidate. We know at least that he will consider other opinions, which means he is open to the truth.

Contrary to the current occupant of the White House.

And lucky for us Obama has a record:
