Let's face it, how can you improve on perfection? And make no mistake, Romney's shellacking of Barack the King in the first debate was perfection. Obama minions in the press couldn't spin abysmal failure -- maybe that would have been possible for moderate failure, but with the spectacularly horrible performance the President turned in on October 3rd, it was impossible. In the end, almost the only person in America who thought Obama won was Barack Obama -- and that in itself says a lot.
I guess you had to read the transcript.
The questions in this debate were different -- pay equity, gun control and immigration played prominent roles. It almost didn't sound like these were undecided voters -- perhaps disappointed voters instead. Which I suppose is the best you'll do in New York City and its environs.
Yet, despite finally having things comfortably within his pay grade, Obama in many respects was no better than the first time.
He lost the first debate on style. He lost this one on content.
Obama improved style-wise, but to paraphrase Dennis Green, he was who we thought he was. His body language was a mess -- often sitting as if he needed the rest, while the older Romney, stood easily.
And a smirk is a smirk even if it is not accompanied by scarily white teeth.
Later, when he could feel victory slipping away he often looked down during answers. Yet, no longer in a coma, the President was much better. Obama thought he won the first debate, but by the look on his face throughout the entire evening, I would wager, he knows he lost this one.

I noticed Obama skipped completely over Romney’s charges about him supplying guns to the drug cartels. He must have agreed with what Romney said.
Last night I heard Barry say “when I was President”.
Anyone else hear that?
The drinking game shold have been every time Ø said “Planned Parenthood.”
I did and asked too but nobody answered.
Maybe we’re just “Freudian slip” watchers...:)

I never heard anyone in the media mention that mammoth slip of the tongue.
Check the tape, it is there plain as day.
Barry must be channeling the evening of November 6, 2012.
Glad someone else noticed this. He made it sound like the only thing women voters care about is PP - nothing could be further from the truth! I find abortion mills repulsive and even more sickening, MEN who worship and defend what goes on there.
Hopefully.
Hopefully.
No, I didn’t.
I only watched about 15 minutes of it.
I’m one of “those women” who has a wife-beater ex and couldn’t bear watching Biden.
;]
Yes, I thought I heard that too. I hope it turns out to be a premonition
Defend or deny as Biden did. Biden says PP doesn’t do abortions.
“I find abortion mills repulsive and even more sickening, MEN who worship and defend what goes on there.”

Hear Hear. When I see the fawning ways of the emasculated girlie men at parties and such in this super-liberal town, I get disgusted in about the same way since for some reason it’s clear to me that part of their acceptance of abortion stems from the same roots - to try to “get into her pants.” It is a despicable and self serving act.
