The State Department has said that it never believed the September 11th attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was the result of a protest over an anti-Islam movie - directly contracting the rest of the Obama administration.
By trying to distance her department from the inept and deceptive handling of the Benghazi attack, which left U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens and three other American officials dead, Hillary Clinton could help herself politically for a 2016 presidential run.
A dramatic new account by the State Department reveals that Stevens was locked inside a 'safe room' choking to death from diesel-heavy smoke as the building around him burned to the ground.
Alongside him was a security guard, tasked with the impossible choice between staying in the deadly room - or facing the rocket-propelled grenades and machine-guns outside.
Eventually the guard slipped through the window (cut)
No-one saw the ambassador alive again - another agent tried desperately to enter the safe-room, but could not find him anywhere.
The State Department's insistence it never bought the story - expressed by the White House and Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations - that a crude anti-Islam film made in California triggered the attack gives ammunition against Obama both to the Romney campaign and congressional Republicans.
State Department sources have said that Clinton has never forgotten that Rice, who served in her husband Bill's administration, was an early supporter of Obama. Rice has ambitions to take over from Clinton if Obama is re-elected but the Benghazi debacle could scupper her chances.
In a briefing on Tuesday, State Department officials said 'others' in the executive branch concluded initially that the attack was part of a protest against the film, which ridiculed the Prophet Muhammad. That was never the State Department's conclusion, reporters were told.

Given Hillary’s fiction peddling, it’s inexplicable unless she had no interest in the truth unfolding on live video by her own staff, preferring instead to get her info from Valerie Jarrett.
Hillary, brack and Rice are the only three in the world who came up with the fiction. Laying it onto the Intel Community just won’t sell anywhere.
I understand that London and Paris was well guarded as well.

But she WAS part of that cover-up, as she repeated the same lies as Susan Rice.
I have said that from day one.Once his usefulness to them was over, he went from an asset to a liability. He knew where the guns and bodies were buried. His case is different but the same as was Vince Foster. Both knew things on Hillary and in the ambassador’s case, obama via Hillary. Hence, both were silenced. Foster via “suicide”, the ambassador via “outrage” over a video that until then very few knew or cared that existed.
Yes Stevens knew too many details about the money looted from the kadaffi assasination which was orchestrated to loot 100’s of billions from Libya

To Muddy The Waters. I don’t believe ANYTHING that comes out of her mouth. William Saffire one called her a Pathilogical Liar. And he was right.
She is up to her eyeballs in the deaths of four Americans.
True, she did tell the lie as well,but it seemed that Susan Rice took quite a bit of of the spot light for that week following 9/11. It just seemed really strange that Rice was used as a spokes person.
But the smoke was still too bad; synthetic fibers in the sofas and furniture was also burning and they were near blacking out so they made their way to a bedroom which had grilles over the windows which would open so they could attempt an escape.
Mind you, they can't even see eachother the smoke was so thick, and if that thick their eyes would have been as big a mess as their lungs. The building was still taking fire so the agent, who was armed and had a vest on, went through the window onto a balcony which had sandbags arranged on it but little else, but at least he could fire back and make the attackers duck to give the ambassador and Sean a chance to slip out too. Smoke would be streaming from the window he exited as well. As expected, he was fired on but regained his composure and looked back expecting the others to be coming out behind him, but they didn't. He reached in and perhaps went back in [I'd have to look at the account] to try to feel around for them, but could not find them.
If I remember right he made it to a pool and wet down his shirt to use as a filter and went back in trying to find them, finding only Sean but Sean was already dead. still no ambassador...
Ponder this: If the White House was briefed by the CIA, and the State Dept. was briefed by the US Marines on the ground, then there would be two versions of events to report.
In that case, both would be telling the truth about what was being reported to them. The problem is that there is only one reality.
If Hilly can throw Obama under the Reality Bus then Hilly still has a chance to run for Pres. in 2016.

Rice did take the spotlight on the lies, but Hillary was spouting them as well.
The question I want answered is who fed those lies to Hillary and Rice to
deceive Americans. Who provided that story line?

What are you talking about? The State Department is responsible for providing Embassy Security and who heads the State Department?
Hillary Clinton. The death of 4 Americans is HER FAILURE.
The cover-up is a complete different issue. And she was a part of that as well.
She spouted the same lies as Rice and Carney.
So, before you get too excited about giving The Beast a pass, you had better realize that she could be president in 2016 if she is allowed to come
out of this scandal untouched. The time to take her out politically is NOW!
