"Fox military analyst Col. David Hunt checked in with us again after the revelation that there were multiple listening posts which heard the cries for help from the US Embassy in Libya and none of them did anything. The State Department says they still do not know what really happened in Libya."

another interesting tidbit:
“It seems that the facility in Benghazi was one of those “cheaters.” It is not clear what that facility was, and how it was classified. It is not listed as a consulate. Who had primary responsibility for that facility? Was it, as some press reports have indicated, primarily a CIA listening post? Was it something else? As I have noted before,
The facility in Benghazi was not a regular consulate despite what the press has been saying. It is not clear what exactly that facility was—it does not appear on the Embassy Tripoli website or in the State Department’s list of consulates—but appears to have been operated on the bureaucratic sly to enable it to avoid expensive and time-consuming security requirements. The Near East (NEA) head, the Diplomatic Security (DS) head, the Undersecretary for Management (M), the Deputy Secretary (D), and the Secretary of State (S), and, of course, the CIA Director, and the head of the NSC, knew this, or should have, and should be fired—if they did not, they also should all be fired. Any investigation must focus on what functions the facility performed, and what risk assessment had been made; in other words, what were the pros and cons of running this place? Was it worth the risk of operating it under the conditions it did? “
I heard someone today say it was not actually consulate, and called it a mission.
Good information on what happened.
This is interesting. Someone did make a decision to send reinforcements from the Tripoli Embassy. Wonder who?
From the report:
As the night goes on, a team of reinforcements from Embassy Tripoli arrives by chartered aircraft at Benghazi airport and makes its way to the compound to the annex, I should say. And I should have mentioned that the quick reaction the quick reaction security team that was at the compound has also, in addition to my five agents, has also returned to the annex safely. The reinforcements from Tripoli are at the compound at the annex. They take up their positions. And somewhere around 5:45 in the morning sorry, somewhere around 4 o’clock in the morning I have my timeline wrong somewhere around 4 o’clock in the morning the annex takes mortar fire. It is precise and some of the mortar fire lands on the roof of the annex. It immediately killed two security personnel that are there, severely wounds one of the agents thats come from the compound.
At that point, a decision is made at the annex that they are going to have to evacuate the whole enterprise. And the next hours are spent, one, securing the annex, and then two, moving in a significant and large convoy of vehicles everybody to the airport, where they are evacuated on two flights.”
It is important we do and much thanks for bringing the subject up in the first place.
This is the only guy saying the right things....Congressman Trey Gowdy...

How long does it take for our military, whether it’s Air Force, Navy, etc. to send cover to this facility? It’s in the middle east, for heavens sake, we have military everywhere. Why should it take over 6 hours from start to finish and we have no military intervention? I am shocked by this inadequate military support and by the lack of attention given to this by the State Dept. and the Obama Administration. It would seem this is dereliction of duty by all involved.
It seems odd to me that some 100+ armed men, with
RPGs and weapons could take the “embassy” then only
hold it for an hour until whatever security at the
safe house could retake it.
It was either a hit and run or else there were more
armed security people at the safe house than we have
been told.
??
I know seal folks are bad news but would 3 or 4 really
take on 100+?
Sounds to me more like the intruders were looking for
something special, codeing machines who knows what else?
Something that they KNEW was there and exactly WHERE
it was.
Whole thing is hinky and is crying out for and needs
a congressional investigation!!!
Thanks for the time zone confirmation. It makes the lies and the supporting obfuscation by the press that much more refutable.
Media? MEDIA? MEDIA?!?!?!
Where the hell is the GOP? Where are those spineless bastards that let Zer0 assume the office in the first place? The same turds that are "investigating" F&F and REFUSING to expose the true purpose behind THAT crime.
Reported a SECOND ATTACK ON PEARL HARBOR on the one year anniversary of the first?
About half the people are conservatives, the other half liberals.
There is a saying that I find more and more true all the time.
If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie.
If you want to anger a liberal, tell him the truth.
I believe that there is a fundamental difference in thinking between liberals and conservatives, that being, that conservatives view the world by truths, of whats right and wrong. Liberals on the other hand view whats right and wrong on how they view the world.
They approach life, not from a set moral foundation, but how they want life to be, and thereby develop their "moral compass" from that. The real problem with that amongst liberals, is that allows EVERYBODYto view life differently, allowing EVERYBODY to have a different "moral compass". In other words, if everybody was a liberal, everybody would have a different and thus OPPOSING "moral compass", thus chaos.
Just look at the politically correct world.
If everybody would start with truth and facts first, calibrating their "moral compass", then everybody going the same way wouldn't be so hard.
Or another way to state it is, Liberals are guided by their emotions, of how they want the world and life to be. Their emotions control them.
Conservatives look to the world around them and base their emotions by facts. They control their emotions.
That is why liberals are so easily led by their "leaders". Their leaders feed their emotions, thus controlling them. Conservatives on the other hand, though we can react emotionally, stand back and look for truth then bring our emotions into alignment.
Its funny, liberals accuse conservatives as being sheep, and yet its liberals, enslaved to their emotions, that are led about.
Liberals love to attack Rushand that we blindly follow him. Personally, I might hear him once a month or 2. BUT...but if Rush suddenly started spewing stupidity and obvious lies, he'd lose his following almost overnight.
And yet liberals will defend their leaders when it becomes obvious they are lying.
Why???
Because their leaders conform to their world view, thus everything else to a liberal is a lie.
3:30 in the afternoon DC Time. Note that Obama, Biden and Panetta had a scheduled meeting that afternoon. Hillary was at the State Department. Are we to believe no one watching/listening in real time notified them?
I want to know when they were told and WHO made the decision not to inform the American public until 9/11 was almost 9/12.
I could accept a news blackout for security reasons. I CANNOT accept a news blackout for political reasons. The last thing Obama wanted was the electorate learning of another 9/11 on 9/11.

BTW, nobody ever seems to notice that even after the event, after our Administration made statements implying the Western world’s 1st Amendment rights were the cause of the event,....US DoD and Federal facilities, were never even placed on higher alert status. ThreatCon was never elevated.
Wouldn’t this have even raised the eyebrows of any flag ranked officers anywhere on the anniversary of 9/11?
I can't even encourage anyone to believe that the Congressional Hearing will ever get to the bottom of this massacre in Benghazi. They won't, it's a show to keep us occupied.
I don't know why the GOP abandons us, after taking our money for their campaigns. I can't answer that.
I'm mad as hell as the saying goes, BUT WE WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, AND THEY KNOW IT. Sorry.
I do believe Romney will win, but I don't believe anything will be done to Obama or Hillary, EVER.. Deals will be made... JMO
You would think by now, some enterprising young journalist would see the rewards he would get by exposing all that has happened, a person such as Bob Woodward? Are there no more daring souls in journalism left that give a hoot about America? I can't answer that one either.
I can't even tell you or anyone it will get better on this earth, to do so would be a lie. Pray.
It isn’t that the Libyan embassy was so important to this administration [even though it is]. It is the mindset of this adminstration to bow and scrape before our enemies, as if they’ll become more accommodating. Hence no need for any intimation, real or imagined, our enemies would be met with violence should they choose to attack our embassy. Rohrbacher hit the nail on the head in Thursday’s hearing.

Democrats are in luck - the knee pad boys at the New York Times and Washington Post aren't going to let any damn facts get in the way of them defending Obama... no sir, that ain't gonna happen.
I expect as much truth to come from this as came from the 9/11 c0mmission.....ANOTHER GOP DEBACLE!!!
