I believe it is very important for all FReepers to listen to the first 18 minutes of the podcast of Larry Kudlow’s show today. He interviews Ed Klein about BenghaziGate.
Essentially - Ed Klein told Kudlow that it seems that Obama is going to either have to deny what VP Biden said in the debate, or that he is going to have to try to hang it on State Dept and Hillary. Meanwhile, the Clinton’s are preparing legally for such an eventuality, and will eviscerate Obama if he tries to do that. They also went through how information goes up from agencies such as embassies, up through the chain of command, to the daily NSA briefings that the president gets (whether he reads or hears them or not). Quite a nice, detailed, yet concise account of the process.

I’ve listened to the Kudlow-Klein podcast - thanks for the suggestion. Well worth the time - these guys know more “inside baseball” than most and it really makes sense.
Actually, this is tailor-made for the Clintons in many ways. We know that Bill at least despises Obama, and they both resent how Obama took their “rightful place” at the top of the democrat party in 2008. So here is the perfect opportunity to eviscerate Obama and save Hillary’s reputation in one fell swoop.
Sure, it would mean Republicans win the Presidency but Clinton knows that’s going to happen anyway. No downside, it’s all good for them.
Does anyone know the timing of a subpeona to Hillary? Can she be called to testify in front of Congress before the election?
Thanks for the tip. I listened to Kudlow’s interview with Klein and I get the feeling this isn’t going to end well for Obama or Hillary. Better than it did for Ambassador Stevens, but bad enough.

In other words, this election is more “over” than the polls suggest.
I really hope all this stuff stays out of the hands of pleaders and ink- and electron-stained wretches. It's relatively sensitive FOUO stuff, and its release would assist enemy analysts. We don't need this stuff falling out of government-office windows into the gutter.
The media will cover for both Hillary and Obama.......Big Bird will have more air time.
