“Biden said something like we were unaware – nobody told us. What does that say? The only person who did know is Hillary Clinton,” explained Klein.
“This is exactly what Bill Clinton was afraid of,” he added. The administration is going to pin the whole thing on Hillary. In recent days the administration has come under scrutiny for the way in which it released information about the Libya attacks to the American public.
On September 11, 2012 Ambassador, Christopher Stevens, and the other Americans were killed after Islamist gunmen attacked the U.S. consulate and a safe house refuge in Benghazi.
At the time the White House called the attack a spontaneous event; in response to a film that portrayed Muslim in an unflattering light.
Republicans charge the White House deliberately misled the people, knowing it was an act of terror. They say the decision was political, that Obama didn't want to disclose that al-Qadea had made a comeback in Libya.
In response to these charges, the White House has denied any intentional cover-up and counters that it has been completely transparent – providing its best intelligence on the attack, and then refining it as more information came to light.
The FBI is still investigating the attack. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also has named a State Department review panel to look into the security arrangements in Libya.
I believe it is very important for all FReepers to listen to the first 18 minutes of the podcast of Larry Kudlow’s show today. He interviews Ed Klein about BenghaziGate.
Essentially - Ed Klein told Kudlow that it seems that Obama is going to either have to deny what VP Biden said in the debate, or that he is going to have to try to hang it on State Dept and Hillary. Meanwhile, the Clinton’s are preparing legally for such an eventuality, and will eviscerate Obama if he tries to do that. They also went through how information goes up from agencies such as embassies, up through the chain of command, to the daily NSA briefings that the president gets (whether he reads or hears them or not). Quite a nice, detailed, yet concise account of the process.

Or, BO and his crew can try to ignore the whole thing, but that won’t work since a debate is coming up which focuses on foreign policy.

WH gave no military order to intervene.

I hope the “pinning” gets underway in earnest before the election. Because if Obama tries to throw Hillary! under the bus, she’ll lob a grenade through the window on her way down to the street.
What will that grenade contain? A birth certificate? Photos from Man’s Country? The video the L.A. Slimes has under lock and key?
That aside, four Americans were killed because of this inept, self-centered and anti-American administration. The truth must out and the guilty must be held to account.
