CBS News and "60 Minutes" reporter Lara Logan has lambasted the Obama administration for pushing what she called the "major lie" that the Taliban has been weakened in Afghanistan by the U.S. military.
According to a Fox News report, Logan spoke last week to a crowd of about 1,100 at last the Better Government Association annual luncheon in Chicago. During the speech she accused the administration of downplaying the number of Al Qaeda operatives in Afghanistan to support its rush to leave.
She also claimed Washington acts as apologists for the Taliban by downplaying their links to Al Qaeda and the strength of their organization.
Logan also criticized the Obama administration over its handling of the attack that killed four Americans in Libya.

Looks like she did! She gave a speech to 1100 people . Just how “public” does it have to be?
Even though it would end her career it would be cool if she said it on 60 Minutes right after the foosball game.
Did she go steal somebody else’s husband after also?
Well, that’s one way to hijack the thread.
Knowing the way things work here I suspected that she would be held as a hero because of what she said. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew the truth. She also took a hit on FR when that first happened back in 08 (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2160882/posts).
Hero? She had an epiphany, and now she has a clue. That doesn’t qualify her for any laurels just yet.
Leaving for another time, of course, the discussion of why we should discount what she said because of what she did. /s
