I have to admit, I've been a breast man for my entire adult life!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

I actually have a few tunes to play this evening - My #1 Son bought me a remastered CD of the "Songs of Leonard Cohen" - music that I have loved since I was a callow youth. I managed to get them uploaded and they're ready to go!

Greetings & Salutations to the Troops and the Canteen Crew!
Jeff Lynne of ELO fame has an album of his favorite songs out called Long Wave. Was wondering if any of that is available for the Canteen ...

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Back home in Russia in 1910,
Sergei Rachmaninov decided to retreat to something so Russian that it would not be understood anyplace else in the world, except among the Russian Orthodox abroad. He decided to write a liturgy for his church. This score was thought to be lost but was rediscovered in the Eighties.
The Russian Orthodox Church uses a form of proto-Russian in its liturgy, known as Old Slavonic. It uses a schola, which is a small group of soloists, and an a cappella chorus. There are similarities to Gregorian Chant, but youll find this sound unique. Regrettably, I couldnt find any videos with translations, so Ill link to just a few parts of it. I dont know if I have the correct liturgical order or not. Just lay back and listen to the angels sing.
