Texas Republican congressman Ron Paul pointedly refused to endorse his party's presidential contender, Mitt Romney, arguing that neither he nor President Barack Obama would make necessary cuts to public spending that would avert a fiscal catastrophe.
"No," the iconoclastic Libertarian bluntly told CNBC’s "Futures Now," when asked about whether he was prepared to endorse Romney. He accused both the former Massachusetts governor and the president of being captive to similar interests.

He’s a sore loser and a poor example to have an (R) next to his name. Put your big boy pants on Dr. Paul and deal with it.
Paul had a couple of good ideas, but the primary voters spoke ages ago and rejected him. Get with the program or STFU. Paul needs to put his bruised ego aside and work to defeat the Kenyan Caliph.

Good for him. Endorsing a socialist because he might be better than a marxist is just taking the slow road to perdition.
My son in Special Forces says a lot of military he knows were Ron Paul supporters because of his get out of foreign countries approach. Romney is more in favor of more military intervention than Obama, though not by much.
