My route wasn't quite the same, but many many moons ago a young lady with whom I was vey enamoured said that tho she liked me a lot, we couldn't go on together unless I read one of her books.

And she handed me Atlas Shrugged.

Yes, I know all the put-downs about it's being preachy and verbose and yada yada yada, but at the time it was precisely the 2x4 upside the head I needed to break free from the marxist mush at our uni.

She and I drifted apart in time of course, but wherever you are, I thank you from the bottom of my soul, Mary DeVore ! !

Anna, this doc of yours is WONDERFUL !

The Brandon kid, at ~50.30, puts me SO in mind of Whittaker Chambers, knowing that he can't just move to the country and 'put it behind him'.

Maybe you've already done it, but a doc along the same lines, but aimed at knee-jerk lifelong 'cuz my family always was' Dhimms.. there are some of my family still stuck in ILannoy that might just benefit from such an expose'.

Interesting! I suppose my takeaway from the video is that it confirms what I've always felt about libtards/utopians generally: They are a confused lot and probably scared to death of personal responsibility. Their only motivation is a "cause" of some kind to which they can emotionally attach themselves to placate their inner demons. Even the "intellectual" ayers seems not to have a grip on reality. He hasn't a clue where he's going but harbors no reluctance telling others how to get there.

It gives me some hope to see some of the libtard "activists" becoming acquainted with the core principles of our Founders ideals. No better advocate for personal freedoms than a disillusioned and converted do-gooder.
