On Thursdays Hardball, MSNBC host Chris Matthews and former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown performed a postmortem on Wednesday nights presidential debate which most political observers agreed President Barack Obama lost. Matthews was confused how, objectively, a man with such scope, relevance, and an I.Q. in the hundred and whatever range lost the debate. Brown said that he thought Obama was concerned that if he took on Mitt Romney, the public may have perceived him as taking advantage of a lesser.
Matthews asked Brown if there was hope for the president to not cede too much ground to Romney because, in his estimation, Obama had a stronger command of the facts even though he lost on style.
Its very, very difficult to get people in the world observing politicians ever come to the substance, said Brown. They always go for style. They are always influenced by performances. And I believe that Mr. Obama took a licking last night. The public knows that. And now to suggest that the facts support what his position was supposed to be, I dont think carries.
Matthews agreed and said, objectively, that President Obama should not have lost the debate because he has such a command of style as well as substance. Matthews also noted that Obama has an I.Q. in in the hundred and whatever range.
I do look up to him in so many ways. And when Im with him, I do say to myself and I do this really objectively, I think I listen to him after hes briefed on something and I think, this guy ought to be president. He has the command of the issues. He has scope. He has relevance. He can talk to you as a regular person in common English, as well as the wonk talk. Hes got an I.Q. that must be in the hundred and whatever range way up there. And yet last night he was tongue-tied. He let the other guy own the room.
What do you think was on his mind, Matthews asked Brown.
Brown said that Obama was too conscious of being perceived as arrogant and, if he had taken Romney to task, the president may have been perceive as taking advantage of a lesser.

These people are truly delusional...
Chrissy had a brain fart. Brown is stupid enough to sniff it.
The mentally immature, weak, and impressionable among us; are easily swayed and impressed.
I think the election and the thought that his “messiah” might lose is starting to get to little Chrissy. He looks like he’s under a lot of pressure right now. He needs to lighten up before he has a heart attack. Maybe some time off and a few long walks.
Whereas Romney,OTOH,having two degrees from Harvard and having made many tens of millions in the dreaded *private* sector, clearly has an IQ somewhere in the 70's.
More evidence that Tingles is insane.
Per the dopes on Hardball, Obama lost because he was performing an an act of kindness, so Romney wouldn’t look so bad.
Showing once again that denial isn’t a river in Egypt.
Either Mr. Matthews and Mr. Brown are very dishonest, and expect us to believe this, or they are nuts.
Chrissy has been all tingly the past 4 years in bed with his man Obama. He turned over in bed last night and figured out his man was really a transvestite.
“an I.Q. that must be in the hundred and whatever range”
“Whatever”?
And here I didn’t think Crissy had the abiity to grasp negative numbers.
Listening to these two, you’d think we were living in North Korea. Of course, the Dear Leader just went easy on Romney.
I'm sorry, I thought this was Earth. Apparently I got off at the wrong stop.
I.Q. in the hundred and whatever range
The numerical value of “whatever” has been determined to be 1. As in 101.
Think ‘Bell Curve’. Being as Affirmative Action Person entitles one (the WON in this case) to being seen as smart and insightful.
Reality is Affirmative Action blind.
Pity!
Are we talking about the same man?
Someone needs to clue Chrissy in that an IQ in the “hundred and whatever range” is pretty average, but I guess.to a guy like him, whose IQ strains to reach two digits, it must be huge.
I don’t care how smart Obama is. He was completely over his head in the debate and had absolutely no idea of many of the things Romney was talking about. His lack of knowledge all things economic was apparent as was his awareness of the Constitution. The MSM can spin it any direction they wish - Obama was out of his element.
Delusional is right.
Let's see ... a former CEO vs. a former "community organizer." I'm thinking the "community organizer" is going to be the lesser of those two about 99.999999% of the time.
