How utter was Mitt Romney's rout of Barack Obama tonight? In the post-debate spin room, a hopelessly muddled Martin O'Malley, Dem guv from Maryland and supposedly an Obama surrogate, wound up referring to "President Romney"!
For good measure, pressed by MSNBC's Larry O'Donnell—clearly dismayed by Obama's dismal performance—to suggest what he'd recommend the prez do differently next time, a demoralized O'Malley could only mutter "uh, I don't know."

I kept getting the impression that Obama acted like he was running against President Romney. Obama was on the defensive, but he didn’t seem to have much ammunition against Romney.

Michelle Malkin tweeted earlier she thought liberals would blame Lehrer. And she was right. Is team Obama capable of ever admitted they might have been wrong?

Trashing Lehrer because Obama stank is juvenile. Lehrer asked the questions and allowed Obama four more minutes than Mitt. Other news anchors might have interjected more only because they always want to grab the stage. This was about the two candidates, which is as it should be.
I was certain they would blame Bush for Obama’s poor performance at the debate. BTW, Obama spoke for about 4 mins longer than Romney according to CNN.
Obama appeared to be running for a Governorship not President. Teachers are a state issue.
Lehrer set a new standard tonite, let the guys talk. If either one had a problem with it they sure didn’t speak up.
Obama does a poor job as usual, but it’s someone else’s fault...as usual.
What a beautiful night. I didn’t watch the debate. I just prayed for God to ruin it for Obama, and then I got on the web and saw these wonderful stories. When an Obama underling criticizes the notorious leftist moderator Jim Lehrer, you KNOW Romney won!
Go ahead! Blame Lehrer. That’s all Obama and his henchmen know what to do - blame somebody else for his failed presidency.
Lehrer did everything to help Oblome except leap to the podium and speak instructions in his ear.

The Teleprompter of The United States finally had a night off and was laughing in the green room watching the debate.
You know how you know which side and how bad they lost the debate? They attack the moderator! This was one of the best moderated debates I’ve ever seen!
Out of the three of them Romney was the leader.
It will take God and Romney to turn this mess around. I don’t think God will even be able to help if MR 57 States is re-elected.
I actually thought Jim Lehrer did the job he was supposed to do. Not control Romney and help Obama which seems is what the press wanted him to do.
CNN reports Obama spoke for 45 mins and Romney spoke for 38 minutes, so maybe it’s WHAT was SAID that mattered.
Romney was amazing! He looked like he was really enjoying himself. I’m amazed at the depth of knowledge he has. The man knows his stuff re the economy! He was aggressive without being condecending, something Obama is incapable of doing.

Romney did great tonight. He showed people who he really is and not what the media says he is. Obamster was p ‘d off and looked weak. I don’t know if that was intentional or not, but look for the obama -axelrod - Jarrett complex to come back viscious in the campaign and the next debates. Romney -Ryan needs to be ready. But tonight’s debate was terrific for Romney and I ‘m glad someone finally gave some public unfiltered push back to the jackass in the WH.
As Bill Clinton might have said...I don’t think anybody on earth...even me...could have defended Obama’s record in that debate.

Yes, Lehrer was a disgrace. Lehrer didn't need to "speak instructions" in Ubama's ear - - Lehrer simply sat there and prompted him. Not once, but twice Lehrer begged Ubama, "Tell us more about the 'balanced approach' to cutting the deficit."
