Cops respond 9 hours after clerk attacked, say 'hire security'

Even the old-timers in Detroit never have seen anything like this: A mob of 40 black people moved into a convenience store and will not leave.
They say they now own it. They eat. Smoke. Cuss.Threaten. Spit. Rob. Sell drugs. All on video.
Police, ministers, neighbors, the store owner and just about everyone else seems powerless to stop them.
“It’s a Bad Crew gas station,” said one of the mob to the local Fox affiliate. “If you don’t know what that is, I can’t even tell you.”
The owner calls police, but nothing happens. The police “come here and then they leave. Two minutes later they (the mob) are back.”
Earlier this month, members of the Perfecting Church, one of Detroit’s largest black congregations, counseled the members of the mob to stop their evil ways.
Nothing changed. Which is not all that surprising: In June, the church’s pastor, Marvin Winans, lost a $15,000 Rolex, a Louis Vuitton wallet with $200 in it and his 2012 Infiniti QX56 SUV after he was carjacked by a mob of 10 black people at a similar convenience store nearby.

This is the same pastor who gave the eulogy for Whitney Houston. The attackers, Winans told the Detroit News, did not know who he was.
In June, another Detroit convenience store had the same problem: A black mob took over the store, told the owners they now own it, and started robbing and threatening. All on video.

That depends on the tactics employed. Vigilantism is what you get when justice is perceived to not exist. Given that the cops don't even do anything about multiple obvious crimes right in front of their faces ...
The store owner has the right idea of carrying a pistol. Too bad the clerk’s shotgun was behind the bullet-proof glass. the owner should invest some time and money in a pistol for the clerk. 5-on-1 beating on tape? “I was in fear for my life.”

Yeah, the Rev Wright, that “mannagawd” who had his McMansion built in the upscale white neighborhood when he retired. It’s a wonder he can bear to be around all that racism and discrimination every day (I’m joking of course, I’m sure it’s full of DWL{disingenuous white liberals} who praise Gaia for the chance to get their white-guilt high from him).
Store owners will shut down and move.
Then they can have the empty stores and live in a area with fewer and fewer stores.

It is why satire is nearly impossible these days. Satire has to be distinguishable from reality in some way.
Most likely. Detroit broke its contract with the real-crime show The First 48 because the show was showing up their incompetence and “making” them look bad. They were the only city who never solved a case on the show, I read. Memphis’ city fathers did the same. The last I watched it, only Miami and I think Houston were still being featured. The stupidity of the criminals on that show! And every single one blamed his “homey” while his “homey” in the other interrogation room was blaming him! LOL!
True, true, and nothing is too outlandish to be possible anymore.
There was a convenience store in another major city in a “high crime area.”
Kids were robbing him out of business after school let out. So he started letting only 2-3 in the store at a time.
Local NAACP protested and sued over the descriminatin’.
Owner shut down the store.
