On Wednesday morning, Terry V. Garner, a 70-year-old Oregon farmer, went to feed his animals. Several hours later, when he hadn’t returned, a family member went to look for him and found, on the ground of the hog enclosure, his dentures.

I hope the farmer wasn’t Muslim. Muslims in case you didn’t know are forbidden by their religion to be eaten by pigs.

My grandpa used to raise pigs, they weren’t treated particularly mean or anything, but a boar had him trapped once and that never happened again. We grandkids were warned to stay far from the adult pigs. The piglets were adorable.

Why won’t he let you use dogs? Around here they are shooting them from helicopters. That seems to be more efficient in thinning the herds but they still have huge litters to replace the killed.

Had a neighbor that fed his dead chickens.

At first I read "he fed his dead chickens" as if he fed chickens that were dead. :)

If my cat was a little bigger, he would kill me and eat me. I can see it in his eyes, but he disguises it with his purring

Yes, it can be scary.

I don’t wake up at any set time and it is a little ‘unnerving’ to look down and see a cat on either side of the bed, staring at you. Now you know they are waiting to be fed, but (I am at the age) I often wonder how ‘hungry’ the cat has to get to make ‘you’ the main course? And how long will they sit there to determine you have assumed room temperature. Of course, if you are still alive, the first bite or so would (should) waken you BUT what if you are paralyzed?
