America is on the verge of fragmentation and civil conflict because its citizens have lost control of their government and lost faith in its political institutions.
Nineteenth century political satirist Ambrose Bierce once described Washington D.C. as a strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles and the conduct of public affairs for private advantage.
Indeed. Not much has changed one hundred years on.
The August 27, 2012 Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just eight percent (8%) of likely voters think that the US Congress is doing a good job.
Most Americans agree that the Democrat and Republican establishments are infested by individuals whose allegiance is not to their country, but to themselves and their political party. Their aim is to be unconstrained by the Constitution and the rule of law and unaccountable to the American people. Their conduct is driven by political expediency and winning elections for the sole purpose of obtaining power and profit.
The US has elections, but it no longer has representative government. The US has a free press, but one that is partisan and dishonest.

Well, if Obama wins, it will indeed be the signal that the “takers” have at last overwhelmed the “makers,” and future political exercises are rather moot endeavors, and the end of America as a free country is finally within sight. I don’t know about an actual ‘civil war’ the way people are expecting, but a strong secessionist movement will likely occur as an action of self-preservation against Obama’s parasitic hoards.
First, you might want to make a distinction between using tactics of a person and needing that person.
Secondly, I reject this notion that conservatives need a Moses like figure to save us. I am a conservative. I believe in freedom and personal responsibility, not this liberal notion that we need a prophet in Washington DC to do our thinking for us.
I reject the Commie solution to the Commie problem as a matter of principle.
Thirdly, see secondly.
While i understand your thinking! there has never been to my understanding a leaderless revolution in the history of man!
It’s the other way around - zombie apocalypse starts November 5
I don’t see anything there that answers my statements.
Obama will restrict emmigration/movement of personal/corporate assets by executive order right away after re-election. It is already being talked about.
“a strong secessionist movement will likely occur as an action of self-preservation against Obamas parasitic hoards.”
That is precisely why I think the US does not house nuclear silos in Texas. It would be their “equalizer” should they decide to secede. If Texas ever did secede I would think of them along the lines of Taiwan fending off the monolithic communist China to the north except there would be no US to support it.
I’m concerned that there will be riots and fighting no matter how the election goes.
Parts of New Orleans is a RAT sewer. Outside of New Orleans the rest of the state is very red.
LA will stand with the rest.
I,for one, would be glad to help put it down.
I think there is some truth to what you say about that and I would be a fool not to acknowledge the obvious, but I am not comfortable with this idea of abdicating our responsibilities to some messiah figure who will deliver us when the entire premise of being a conservative is personal responsibility and, in a way, when you are expecting a leader to do your heavy lifting for you it defeats the point of being a conservative.
There are some things you need to outsource to leaders in terms of communication and efficiency, but by their nature political leaders wish to accumulate more power and the power of the state, so I think it is more the problem of the masses to stop this encroachment on our freedoms by the state rather than delegate it to people who have already been compromised.
If the Republicans would nominate another RINO in 2016 then it is time for an internal revolution.
You are correct. Producers going Galt will be much more effective then becoming violent. They are prepared for direct violence.
I notice you included Florida. However, like Ohio, its a swing state. In other words, too many liberals. I noticed you left out Georgia and South Carolina.
you got it trooper!
violence is far more likely if obama LOSES thanifi he wins. conservatives are, on the whole, more mature and able to deal with defeat. libs, are the onew who throw temper tantrums when things don’t go their way...
Count me in.
The real problem is citizens of the ‘0bamaphone’ way of thinking, of whatever race, vs. people who make phones and phone services. This divide is permanent.
I don’t know what the 0bamaphone people will do with themselves when they actually have to do for themselves without support. That day will come.
where did you hear that?
750 million rounds is not near enough. By the way, can anyone name the companys selling these rounds? I want to add them to my list.
