Is there a grassroots suggestion thread for Governor Romney?
My two young adult sons told me today that they will not vote for President Obama but they do not want to vote for Romney either -- said they were sitting out the presidential vote. Stated that they did not know anything good about Romney. So I told them how Romney did not take a salary as governor or when placed over the Olympics and how he turned things around. I explained that we don't need a lawyer in the White House all the time, that we now need a business man. That the next president would make appointments to the Supreme Court. My sons are well employed but these aspects of the choices had not occurred to them. Oblivious.
It seems like the good news about Romney is not getting out there in my state. I do live in a state which is liberal so perhaps that is why we are not getting any presidential ads.
We need some testimonial ads of what Romney has done in the past and his family, too.

During the debates, Romney should ask Obama what things he or any other dem did to stop the housinginflation in the 2000s- the problem is the dems made it worse by forcing banks to give loans they shouldnt and Obama even went to court to get blacks loans- as of today 50%percent of those he helped havefiled bankruptcy
More than anything else, during the 1st debate on economy, Romney needs to explain that Obama is lying when he claims he inherited the economic problem from Bush. Here are the facts:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress.
At the time:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bushs Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB
GROWTH
January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy? BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!
Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA and the Democrat Congress.
So when someone tries to blame Bush. REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.
Simple—he’s a nice man, but he needs to take the gloves off.
America wants a strong leader. We’ve been without one for 4 years. Bath-House Barry is gay and everyone KNOWS but won’t say.
He won’t hurt his “image”—He’ll ELEVATE it.
(Think of how the crowd roared when Newt didn’t take crap in the debates-—Americans LOVE a strong man-—especially American WOMEN—don’t let them tell you any differently. Those that LOVE America and their children DEMAND a strong man—there’s nothing more exciting.)
I would say this. If that is their attitude, then perhaps they do not deserve their freedom.
If they follow through with their plan, they will not have it.
That is all.
My advice is for him to keep doing what he is doing
It may be late in the game but still Romney needs to explain
conservatism and how Obama’s economic policies have made things
worse. He needs to explain that those who are in a position to
kick start the economy are sitting on the sideline because Obama’s
handling of the economy worries them.
What Romney should now explain are the reasons why those 47% ers on fixed incomes must go on food stamps and apply for other benefits such as energy assistance etc.
The price of ; goods, services ,food, as well as the cost, type ,and use of of energy resources, particularly coal, and oil, have all been driven up by Obama through his endless edicts, use of EPA regulations and prohibitions all designed to change the systems of distribution and use of pleantiful resources to conform to his socialist scheme or ideal. Without any regard to the consequences.
Is there any difference of changing cheap energy supply that Obama is doing and this ?
“To make an omlet ..one must break a few eggs”. That was the answer Stalin gave to a New York Times reporter Durante who supported this action did not report it .When Stalin demanded millions of private farmers in the Ukraine surrender their farms or die so that his plan would comply with the communist idea of collective farming which wound up starving millions more. By not reporting it Durante won the Pulitzer prize. And the murderers row of that ism who continuously repeat it such as Paul Pott, and Mao Tze Tzung,
Romney is also a lawyer.
GIVE ‘EM HELL!
Oh, did not know that. Thanks for the heads up.
Suggestion to Romney: Don’t listen to us! Listen to Newt, to the WSJ editors and commentators, to the IBD, there is plenty of good advice coming from those sources.
Just as I did during our campaign, I am very focused on the critical need for America to aggressively exploit all forms of energy production so that we can become truly energy independent.
Serious investment in multiple forms of energy production, including expanded drilling for oil and natural gas, will lead to an explosion in good, high-paying jobs for American citizens.
And it will finally begin to disentangle us from the Middle East and dependence on regimes that do not share our values and do not have America's best interests at heart!
I am raising energy independence at all our campaign events and the voters to whom I am speaking are totally with us.
We don’t know that he ever practiced, but he did pass the bar, and was licensed in Michigan.
Also, you won’t see many ads here in California, so you will have to use youtube, California is not being fought over.
Expose the cockroaches to light!
Romney has actually passed a budget in his life as an executive, something Obama has never done.
If I were Romeny, I’d lead with:
“As your President, I vow not to accrue 5-trillion dollars in debt without even having the responsibility to pass a budget as my predecessor has done.”
Come on, Americans across the country tackled credit card debt, re-did their own budgets, and did without. Obama just doubled up and spent more.
You really have to be living under a rock to think this guy is a capable executive, especially compared to a guy like Romney who has a lock trackrecord of success.
Am I the only person out there who thinks that running a nation without a budget is almost criminally insane? It really doesn’t seem to bother many.
