Picture is of Dutch guarding my fathers grave.
Lost Dutch today, he was my fathers 85th birthday present.
Dad served in WWII as a staff sergeant.
Miss them both greatly.
Sorry for your loss. It’s especially sad as Dutch was your dads, and he’s gone now too. All the best to you, and yours.
Prayers up for you all.
What a sweet looking dog. I’m so sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry. My dad passed away Sunday before last. He was 88 and a WW2/Korea vet. The best generation of American’s is leaving us.
Sorry for the loss of both your dad and Dutch.
I am sorry for your loss.He is playing with your Dad now.
You have my sympathy and prayers, FRiend.
Oh dear....so very sorry.
I am very sorry, that is a great loss.
We almost went nuts last year when our cat died. Oy, it was bad.
My condolences and hubby’s too.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I’ll pray for you. God bless you and embrace you.
Wish I was there to make you some cookies and cocoa and watch a goofy movie with you.
Praying for you for comfort during this time of loss.
I’m SO sorry. May God offer you comfort on the loss of a good friend.
I am so sorry.
RS, prayers up for your strength during this hard time.
I’m so sorry for your loss, RS, made even more painful by Dutch’s relationship with your father. Decades ago, I also lost a dear dog named “Dutch”. I was just thinking about him a day or so ago. I believe they are always with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Oh, I’m so sorry for your loss. Looking at that pic made my heart ache.
I’d pray, wish, hope, etc. for a quick recovery from such a heart break, but I know better.
Just took out my sympathy card I received from my Kittys crematory (12/16/10)....
“Our Deepest Sympathy”
“We know it is difficult to say good bye to a pet you held so dear.”
“We hope you find comfort and peace in the fond memories you made together”.
From Us to You,
NoGrayZone & Kitty
P.S. Tell your Dutch to stay away from my Kitty (yes, that’s her name). She’s really mean.
I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a pet hurts.
We are with you in your sorrow. Prayers up.
Deepest sympathy for the loss of your little pal.
I’m so sorry. Even though losing one is SO very hard, the idea of never having known them or having them in our lives is worse. Be comforted in knowing that having you in their lives made their own worth living. May the God of all comfort touch your heart and help you heal.
So sorry for your loss. - My Dad has been gone for 10 yrs. now. He was a WWII combat veteran (N. Africa, Sicily, Italy & Germany); was shell-shocked all to hell. Could be a bit difficult at times; but I still miss him terribly. (”Civilization” was hard for him after he came back; but he still came back, worked and tried to “fit in” with “polite society” as best as he could.)
