Just got the notice to update my iPod Touch to iOS 6. Having second thoughts about doing it. Should I wait?

Mac’s have had that problem since the Macbook G4 days.

My iPad (MC705LL) was kinda slow, compared to my iPhone 4s, before the update to iOS 6. It’s still slow, so I’m not noticing much there.

Battery life seems a bit iffy, again. More so on my phone than the iPad. Could be some of the new stuff that keeps running in the back ground. After the last update, I know I had to go back in and shut off a lot of stuff I don’t use. Mostly Push and Location services. That’s about the only way to maintain decent battery life...

I just wish the Calendar on the iPhone didn’t insist on downloading all the events from Facebook.

A co-worker just bought a new iPhone 5. Had numerous connectivity problems. He took the phone back, Apple couldn’t fix it in the store, and had to replace it. His replacement phone is doing the same thing. No signal dropped calls.

I updated my iphone 3GS and while mail has been a bit screwy I had problems before and was needing to redo my email addy’s and servers.
I got around the loss of google maps by going to google maps in safari and conveniently letting google maps put the maps icon on home screen lol
I don’t get turn by turn on my phone (only for 4S and later) but discovered the free MapQuest app does vocal turn by turn. another win.
iphone 5 is too big to fit in my pocket or leather case so I won’t be getting it.
I could possibly go for a “mini” ipad for in purse. I really miss my tungsten E2 which was awesome because I could write on it with stylus and it had alot of great apps. I would love for a small tablet like that. ipad is just too big to carry around (and having to have adapter for sd/usb is just ridiculous).
I really really liked my Evo but just didn’t get any signal at work with Sprint after moved to FL, and with other family on iphone it made more sense to go that way.

Poor programming. Instead of writing real, bomb proof code, today’s programmers play footsie with java toys and other stacked up nightmares just waiting to fail.

The wife’s iPad 1 and iPad 3 have had consistent connection problems that sometimes drive her to distraction. Fortunately, she has learned that her Win7 PC at work and her notepad laptop at home are still the way to go. Nowdays she uses the iPad for mostly entertainment and leaves the grunt work to real computers and real smartphones.

No matter how advanced technology gets, there will always be those who will complain about it.

My wifes text messages get copied back to her. They also still haven’t fixed the broken Bluetooth or the voice command in the iPhone 4.

My next phone next month won’t be an Apple. It’s USELESS as the phone I need; no working Bluetooth or voice command, which makes it useless on a motorcycle with a Bluetooth helmet. It also interferes with the bike’s Bluetooth system so getting the radio/satellite from the bike hit and miss.

WAIT!!!

I lost Google Earth, You Tube and Adobe Flash Player. I can’t watch any videos. I have no maps. There have been multiple trivial issues as well.

Upgraded my iPhone 4POS and it keeps dropping even my 3G connection. I get the dreaded “o” symbol. Time to reboot again!
