First, let me say that I am about 90% confident Mitt will win. The "polls" are mostly skewed and I have a high confidence that the GOP efforts to root out illegal alien voters will have a BIG impact. But even having said that, I think we need to be prepared with some plans for what to do if the DemoCRAPS win (or steal) the election.
I think a Plan B has to start with an utter refusal to compromise and a solid dedication to conservative and Godly values on behalf of all Republican office holders. That is the LEAST we should expect. We also will need to keep building the Tea Party and keep holding the GOP's feet to the fire re: our principles. We also would need to PRAY A LOT.
Any other ideas?
If in some sick nightmare scenario, Obama wins, the best we can hope for is to gridlock this country for another four years. I know that sounds horrific, but its better than Obama’s agenda, which is to turn the USA into a socialist one-party state no doubt full of Muslims with sharia law set up in several districts. Horrific to even comprehend.
I’m serious, Obama wants a second term, we’ll f*** up everything he tries to do. Some states should simply refuse to obey Obama’s doctrine, as Arizona has done. Go rogue! Make ourselves heard loud and clear. We do NOT recognize TOTUS as our POTUS.
Imho, a good plan. Clog the courts and have “liberty “schools” teaching Americanism and its Constitution. Stymie the ‘bamster and all his minions!
I'm 65, if Obama wins I intend to grab what I can with both hands.
Shhh... don’t talk openly about it. Just come to the meetings
and follow instructions.
...and buy as much 5.56 as you can afford.
Thanks,
Commander T
As a general rule, conservatives stuck in cities and districts routinely electing the worst sort of Democrats should register as Democrats and use their weight in the primaries to support less radical Democrats.
Oh yes, stay in the GOP because it has done so much for Conservatives. Except for Ronaldus Magnus, all we have gotten for our troubles is “hold your nose” RINO candidates. Understand this - Romney doesn’t want to be President; his sole aim was to keep anyone else from being the nominee.
Staying in the GOP if Romney loses is Einstein’s definition of insanity. How else can you say it when the last two GOP nominees hqave agreed with 9bambi on every major issue - abortion, health care, immigration, etc.?
The TEA Party will replace the GOP.

This. WTH has happened to people? I just don’t get it. I somewhat think it is ignorance of our history because history is repeating itself. Only this time, I don’t think it can get better.
We *need* a constitutional convention & we need to *not* back down. I honestly think the country needs to be divided.
(sorry about the double post but) I LOVE this proposal!
If Romney loses, the Republican party will either dissolve into several parties, or will be taken over.
I’m not sure a hostile takeover is the best choice. It may be better just to let it break up and let the resulting parties contend for primacy.
The American system (presuming it continues under Obama 2.0, by no means a sure thing) essentially forces two parties through coalition-building, the Democrats have successfully re-invented themselves although it took 40 years (1968-2008) and are now what is in effect a new party, any Republican elements that do not turn to Obamunism will have to do the same thing after a loss this year.
I hope the author is right but there are one hell of a lot of illegal voters waiting to cast doubt on that one, not to mention Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and those icons.
Romney was the best guy running....period.
Oh Cherry, I rarely disagree with you, but I 100 percent believe that had Santorum won the nomination, he would win by 40 states. The country is seriously wanting a moral president. Yes he would win Pennsylvania regardless of his loss in the Republican disaster of 2006. Had he lost in 2010 than I would agree that he stinks but 2006 was just plain awful for ALL Republicans.
Oh, I remember it well. My concern is that back in those days, most of America was still American.
=============================
Now this is what we do AFTER we compromise our values and vote for a liberal, right? But if we have a solid dedication to conservative and godly values NOW that's wrong.....right?
Equivocating morals can be SO confusing!
GREAT idea!
