Well if you believe media polls that assume Obama will turn out more voters in 2012 then he did 2008, then yes.
If you believe the professional pollsters like Gallup and Rasmussen, no.

Well maybe. It’s too early to stop campaigning in any state that’s in the margin of error in polls. Doesn’t mean Obama is down in WI.
We’ll see. I don’t know what to think anymore with all the polls and people posting negative articles from the media on one hand, and posters downplaying the polls and articles on the other hand.

True. Intrade is the small dumb money being bet that has zero inside knowledge. It is the the herd following the polls. The real money, i.e. the hundreds of billions being wagered in the US stock and bond markets, those guys have inside knowledge.

Not one President who polled under 50% in the election season has won reelection. Even the pro Obama polling do not get him past that 50% number.

Don’t know if I believe them or not. There are a gazillion polls out there. As for the professional polls, less than two weeks ago we were bashing Gallup as being untrustworthy. I find it odd that now we are supposed to trust them.
I see don’t bother you with the facts that challenge your emotion based opinions. Got it.
Romney is a smart guy. We also know he can get down and dirty (see the primaries) when required. I don't think anyone questions that. Romney's camp is well aware that he is running not only against Obummer but also against the MSM. I think the campaign is using the “rope-a-dope” strategy. Stay close until early October, then use a carpet bomb ad campaign to highlight Obummer’s dismal record. By holding their punches until late in the campaign, Romney can force the MSM to have to build their defense of Obummer on several fronts at once with severe time constraints. O’s record is a target rich environment. There is no way the MSM can sugarcoat his failures if Romney can get the message out in manner which limits the MSM’s time to respond.
I have no inside knowledge to back this up. It's just my sense of what the strategy is. If Romney's attack never materializes, then he will have run one of the worst campaigns in history. I hope this is not the case.

Be of good cheer and get those eyes focused straight ahead — Obama is about to be crushed in November. The media know it, but Obama has such a leash on their big-wigs in management that the best they can do is keep him in the race via sham polling and journalists who report what they are told to report.
Election day will iron that all out with a political Bitch-slap of epic proportions.
