Is that a normal gas station or is it like the one in Florida that got notice earlier this year for high prices. It was the last station on the road to the airport before paying $10/gallon at the rental return so they could get away with over $5/gallon?

Wow. Gas prices in Toronto have been falling for the past week, today it’s at CAD $1.25/litre (USD $4.66 per US gallon). I never thought I’d live to see the day when our gas was cheaper and unemployment was lower.

I visit Canada often and have been saying for the past 10 years that you guys, on balance, have been doing better than us. I can’t stand the unabashed Canadian Socialism, but you have a demographic mix that lends itself to a more successful Socialist model (essentially, you lack the Mexican illegals and our black inner city underclass). Also, you seem to be arriving at a better system of taxation than we have. The US (Obama) brand of socialism coupled with wanton Federal deficits is completely running the country into ruin. Of course, Canada will be sucked down that same toilet merely because your need for a healthy US economy. So, see you Canadians in our future purgatory!
