Bullsqueeze. Laws inherently legislate morality. What the left means is “you can’t legislate YOUR morality, but we can legislate ours”.
those look a wee bit more like social agendas to me. The problem is that the left makes everything personal into a political issue - we shouldn’t follow suit (get the government off my back!).
ONLY when politicians attempt to force their ideological interpretations of them by legislation, regulation or the barrel of a gun.
When the end goal is gubmint controlling the human being down to the DNA structure, everything is political. Including how often you breathe.
I would catagorize these as social concerns or areas of interest, rather than political agendas. I like to think I can do what I want to with my money, give to whoever I want. Ditto for business owners.
True, but sad that such things have become “hot button issues” (and not universally accepted as simply noble causes) no?
