An internal Justice Department investigation into the Operation Fast and Furious scandal recommends discipline for 14 officials, but found no evidence that the department’s top leaders knew about the gun-walking aspect of the operation when it was underway. The long-awaited report from Justice’s Inspector General finds misconduct or poor judgment on the part of officials at DOJ headquarters, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives headquarters in Washington and field office in Arizona, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona. However, the investigators found Attorney General Eric Holder didn’t know about the operation until after the scandal emerged in the wake of the discovery of two weapons linked to the operation at the scene of the shooting death of a Border Patrol agent in December 2010.
Holder’s own department cleared him? Shocked! Shocked I tell ya.

The report really doesn’t clear Eric Holder. Anyone with any knowledge of how organizations are managed will understand that this not only happened under his watch, the people closest to him are deemed negligent and/or culpable.
It is inconceivable that any other organizational head would not be dismissed under similar circumstances, in both business and government.
The report does not “prove” that Holder didn’t know, it accepts his word that he didn’t know, but it does not remove the common-sense conclusion that he should have known. HE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN is all that is needed to conclude he should be fired.
Who signed off on it first?
Almost two years and they can't find that out? Fire them all for incompetence.
Holder clears Holder of all wrong doing.

It the best of all possible worlds (Serenity) the Alliance Government would send the "nameless" Operative with his Katana to administer an "exit interview" for AG Holder:
"This is a good death. There is no shame in this, a man's death, a man who has done fine works." Fin

We should note also this all pivoted on a whistle blower...otherwise the narrative would now be well established that criminals are running guns into Mexico. All dutifully expanded/defended by the low-lives media...except for a few extreme conspiracy theorists on compulsory leave from the ATF, the media would destroy them in short order.
