Most joint U.S.-Afghan military operations have been suspended following what authorities believe was an insider attack Sunday that left four American solders dead, officials told NBC News.
“We’re to the point now where we can’t trust these people,” a senior military official said. So far this year, 51 NATO troops have been killed in these so-called blue-on-green attacks. Sunday's attack came a day after two British soldiers were shot dead by an Afghan policeman, Reuters reported.

Not to be a real stick in the mud, but training Afghans is the mission that keeps us in Afghan.
It’s one of the prongs of the counter-insurgency strategy. Take over an area and leave local good guys to keep it under control.
Those “local good guys” are busy killing our guys, so we stopped doing the “train them” piece of the “leave local good guys to keep sanitized areas under control.”
So, why are we now in Afghanistan if we just now gave up on the only sane mission that makes sense.
Maybe the people who buy the bulk of that oil should protect it because we’re petty low on the list of mideast oil users.

A lady told me her grandson came back from a tour in Afghanistan and told her, “Granny, we are not even allowed to shoot at them. We have to shoot into the air over their head if we think they are coming at us.”
The first rule of fighting is NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN.
We need to start building family quarters in Afghanistan. We call it PENTAGON FORWARD and move half the Pentagon over there with their families. This thing is over in a month. Their wives would be screaming at them so loud they’d wear ear plugs at home.

The afghanitards are happy living in an 8th century tribal society in which women are for procreation and little boys are for fun. If we aren’t willing to nuke ‘em, bring our tropps home.
I suppose they need to go to Muslim sensitivity training since it appears this admin is blaming our troops for their own deaths. This is just awful!
