Are matters coming to a head in the Middle East? According to a report by Sean Rayment of the UK Telegraph, the leaders of the United States are going to meet tomorrow, something that had previously not been announced, as annual naval exercises - the largest ever, are to bring a large flotilla of western vessels to the Strait of Hormuz:

Will he be escorted out by the trash cans or will they let he enter and exit through the front doors?
Apparently, Obama is losing the Jewish vote and Jewish funding to such an extent he felt he had no choice but to publicly embrace Bibi.
Don't forget Obama is now looking at weeks ahead where all the lack of security about the Libyan attack is scrutinized.
Wag, wag, wag.
ping for some good details of the exercise.
I say it remains to be seen if Obozo is truly meeting with Netanyahu or not. I’m more inclined to think he’ll send an underling while he goes out to play golf.
Not much to laugh at lately, but that was funny!
:-) I never get tired of that picture of Bibi ... but the other side, on the other hand ... :b
On The Drudge Report:
Armada massing as ‘Israel prepares Iran strike’...
I’m afraid the Bamster will slip the timing of the attack to Iran if Bibi shares it with him.
My caption for those photos: Bibi ready to strike a blow; Hussein smoking blow.
I knew Obama would cower, I just figured he would have done it a few days ago.
And why should Bibi or any other foreign leader dictate to the US? If Israel attacks Iran, it may very well result in US ships being attacked and many lives lost. The already fragile world economy will implode, and we could descend into depression and anarchy.
If we don’t want Israel to attack, then why don’t we just pull the plug on all the aid we give them? Does everyone understand that we are broke and our military is stretched to the breaking point? This is all nuts.
If I were Bibi, I’d tell him I was too busy getting my planes in the air to meet with him. That’s certainly a better excuse than Obama had for snubbing him.
I can picture Obama hiding in the green room in a fetal position, waiting for Bibi to leave.
Thanks tapatio.
You frame the question in an interesting manner, suggesting that Netanyahu is the dictator in this mess. That is a statement of questionable validity given the cast of characters.
Consider instead that perhaps Israel is backed into a corner with no good options for a way out. I would suggest that those threatening that nation’s existence and refusing to offer aid are acting more dictatorial.
A pre-emptive strike can cause chaos and war. Failing to act pre-emptively may allow the problem to grow out of control.
Should someone have stopped Hitler before he took over Europe? How do you deal with a murderous tyrant who is not open to reason?
I don't understand. Are you saying that Israel has never done anything for the U.S.? That Israel doesn't deserve our aid for some reason?
"Different countries have their own interests, and they act in their own interests. As an American, I always put America's interests first. However, as a Jew, I still have a spiritual connection with Israel. I hope and pray for Israel's continued safe existence, and I also believe that existence is important to the rest of the civilized, western world. Israel has accepted LOTS of US foreign aid over the years. At the same time, Israel has done some VERY heavy lifting for Western civilization. Among other things, they fought a proxy war for the US against the Soviet Union's proxies. And then there was that 1981 attack on Iraq's nuclear reactor. And much more recently, there was the Israeli attack on Syria's nuclear facility." -FReeper MarkL-SOURCE is comment on a FR thread on 9/2/12: Why Israel Doesn't Trust Obama
Apparently Netanyahu is dictating to us.
